內容簡介
When two construction workers discover a corpse in a federal building in Washington DC, they unleash an investigative storm which will have all the hallmarks of being the biggest case in the FBI's history. Special agent in charge Mark O'Brien and his team discover a trail of leads that will ultimately take them to the very doorstep of a former Russian president who now resides in the United States. Mark O'Brien has his own demons to fight during this case. His wife Pamela is seeking a divorce and the strained relationship with his daughter Priscilla is not exactly easy to deal with. FBI's new star recruit Tamara Hunter is a stunning twenty-six year old computer whizz kid who he is falling for. Their passionate love affair takes him to the brink of losing everything he stood for. At the same time O'Brien and his team hunt the drug distribution network right across the globe, trying to bring down this operation, only to discover that most players involved have Russian Diplomatic Immunity. Who in the Kremlin is involved and covers the footprints of this illegal business? How far is Tamara prepared to go before Mark's affair with her will destroy him and his career?
