The Time Machine by H. G. Wells is one of the best Sci-Fi (Science Fiction) Novels ever, with millions of copies sold to date. It hails from the Golden Era of Groundbreaking Sci-Fi novels. Wells might not have been the one who founded the time travel sci-fi genre, but he sure did make it mainstream through this Novel. In Fact, the impact of The Time Machine is so universal that it not only inspired many classic movies like Back to the Future but even continues to inspire artists today. - The story begins at a dinner party, where the Time Traveller is the host and explains to his guests how Time is just a Human Construct that simplifies it for the human brain to comprehend and that Time and Space are the same things - The Time Traveller explains to the guests that the reason why we comprehend the time difference is that our consciousness is oriented along the Time Axis. So the question is then is it possible to travel along the Time Axis? To which the Time Traveller responds, yes. - The Time Traveller explains how Gravity weighs us down in the three space dimensions but is still traversable, and therefore time travel is possible. He shows his guest his Functional Time Machine and through which he is ready to travel. - What follows is a bunch of adventures explained through the perspective of the Time Traveller to his Guests in which the Time Traveller goes further and further in time, encountering new civilisations and the future. - He encounters the Eloi, a fragile-looking, elegant, and child-like race that lives in small communities in a world that's essential "A Garden" sans any of Human-Technology or Engineering. - He comes to understand the future as a Utopia, but little does he know that terrifying secrets lay beneath the green world of Eloi, which was inhabited by Morlocks, who are light-sensitive, subterranean, ape-like creatures. The book is a paperback book with well-arranged illustrations and optimized for a relaxed and enjoyable reading experience. Happy Reading!
