Rebecca is uniquely placed to write this. She holds a Master's Degree in Social

Work and is currently completing a Juris Doctor to become a lawyer. She has

worked in various government and non-government roles, including youth

justice, community services, and therapeutic practice. Today, she specialises in

domestic and family violence as both a therapist and an advocate.

Rebecca also writes as someone who has lived it - surviving abuse, coercive

control, and the shortcomings of the system itself. She brings both professional

expertise and lived experience to every page.

This follows her first published work, which sparked controversy and was

withdrawn from sale after warnings of possible legal consequences if she

refused to comply. Rather than silencing her, that experience strengthened her

resolve to speak out about coercive control and systemic injustice.
