這是一本著重閱讀策略和學習方法以培養英語閱讀素養的輔導教材,可兼具跨科的橋梁課程、高中英語校本課程、必/選修課程或者高興趣或高能力學生的自主學習。多樣式文本類型提供了讀者的先驗知識和其他訊息來源、提供了比基於文本更深入的理解形式、構成更深層次的閱讀理解。其目的是對文本進行概念深化、對不同文化理解、促進批判性思考、推理和反思以提高閱讀素養能力。
