On a scale of 1 to 9, where does your personality lie? Confused? Well, you shouldn't be. That is how personalities are referred to in Enneagram. These personalities are indicated by nine numbers where each number refers to a distinct personality archetype.
When you look at the Enneagram, then you are mainly considered to be one type of personality. However, you can take traits from the other personalities. Using the Enneagram, you can get a deeper understanding of your personality, how to improve it, and how you can deal with the personalities of other people.
And that is what we are going to look at in this book; how to understand the above topics and more. The book is going to help you draw an Enneagram symbol or diagram of your own, using simple and easy to understand steps. Or you can visualize it in your mind as well; it's not that complex, but it will require a little practice.
Once you understand more about the Enneagram, we are going to delve deeper into the Enneagram, understand how to relate to each of the nine archetypes and how it influences other archetypes. For example, number 9 can lean towards personality number 8 and personality number 1. But there are other personalities that can influence it as well.
Each chapter is split into various parts. You can choose to go through each chapter from the beginning or you can choose a specific section and jump right into it. What's more, if you have an idea of what kind of personality you have, then you can jump to a particular section and then read about it.
Don't know your personality? That's alright. Each chapter comes with a set of statements that you can select to see if they apply to you. The more statements you select, the more you get to know what is your main personality and what other personalities influence you. Based on that, you can focus on the areas you need to work on.
Excited? Then get ready to dive into the wonderful world of Enneagram. There are many numbers and symbols. But don't worry, this book will guide you through all of them and make them easier to understand.
