內容簡介
This is a warm and fanciful story of a little boy's very vivid imagination and how a collection of Rainbow animal friends help him overcome his loneliness.
Noah is an active boy, who loves animals, but is lonely with no brothers or sisters. His teddy bear, Polo, is his constant companion.
He loves going to his Uncle Robert's veterinary office, but one day he doesn't go because he is sick. That night Noah's illness, his fever and imagination all work together to bring a beautiful rainbow and mischievous animal friends to life right before his eyes! With the help of a magical "Special Key" and keyhole visible only to the boy, the visions are brilliant and real as life.
A big red Unicorn leads the pack of animals through all their paces and fun antics as the story unfolds. Noah's mom doesn't believe the animals visited him, yet how do you explain the silver stars and red hearts that mysteriously appeared in his bedroom?
Noah's rainbow animal friends appear to him more than once throughout the story and help him overcome his loneliness, help make him feel better and help solve his "Show and Tell" problem.
Each of the animals is represented by the colors of the rainbow. There is a red Unicorn, orange Main Coon Cat, yellow Labrador dog, green spider monkey, blue parrot dinosaur, indigo lamb and violet pony.
Children will be delighted to learn that the parrot dinosaur in the story is a real life dinosaur and is the smallest dinosaur discovered to date. It looks more like a bird, than a typical dinosaur!
Noah's colorful imagination and love of animals come to light in this whimsical story. We are left wondering if it is really Noah's brilliant imagination or if his rainbow animal friends are real and if they will come back to share more adventures with Noah.
