George and Ethel, your down to earth, funny, retired couple, took a trip of their life after they retired to South and Central Florida in the United States. Their story was an inspirational travel adventure of their road trip to Florida. After arriving in Florida, they checked into the Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach. They relaxed at the plush Breakers Hotel and viewed Billionaires and Millionaires Row of estates along the ocean and spent a day at the beach. George loves to eat, and he has not missed a meal yet with his knee socks and Velcro sandals on. They drove on Jupiter Island of the rich and some famous and did the Jellybean boogie at the Jupiter Island Light House. Pelican greeted them as they drove on to Sanibel and Captiva Island. They enjoyed picking up pastel-colored seashells, bike riding, touring the best-kept secret, Captiva Golf Course, and enjoying eating, relaxing, and watching the sunset at the Mucky Duck Restaurant. They enjoyed their South Seas Island Resort accommodations, beautiful, courteous, and private at the end of Captiva Island with seashells and gorgeous sunset views. They drove to Tampa Electric manatee viewing center to see those docile manatees on their way up to the Villages in Florida called the friendliness retirement hometown. At the Villages, they toured around an adult gated community with everything you could want in it, entertainment, sports, shopping, banks, grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, free golf for life for residents, and much more, and they are still building. After a long enjoyable vacation to tourist destinations and museums, George and Ethel flew home to enjoy their humble abode in Massachusetts. George was in his recliner, and Ethel was unpacking and planning their next road trip. Life after retirement has its perks.
