No marriage is easy; it is to be worked through with obedience to God. But the first thing you need to know is what God has to say about marriage. There are many scriptures in the Bible that talk about marriage and what God expects from us in our marriage; what we are to do and not do. After all, God is the one that created man, woman, and the institution of marriage. So He is the one that knows how it works. Many of us like doing things our way and later find out it didn't turn out like we expected. And after many years of marriage, the consequences of our disobedience has not only hurt our life but the lives of our spouse, children, other family members and friends. First, we must know what a true marriage is according to God. If we start off on the wrong foot, the marriage will not be blessed by God, and we will have to undo what we have done if we are to be obedient to God. Out of obedience I am sharing with you what the Lord has taught me. I am not here to tell anyone what to do but to share with you what God has taught me through my experiences. And to let you read others' testimonies also. After my divorce and all the things the Lord taught me through the whole experience I knew that I could not have been the only one that has ever gone through something like this. So I did my research and found many more that had gone through the same thing and what they did and learned about it. "We all have experiences in life that hopefully we learn and grow from.
