The author includes a variety of breast cancer statistics in the book for readers. Reading these statistics will hopefully inspire readers to make sure they keep up with their monthly self-exams and yearly mammograms. Since early detection is so critical with this disease. Throughout the book, the author includes scriptures for healing, faith, strength, encouragement, and inspiration as well as prayers that she used during her cancer fighting journey. Readers will be able to reflect on the scriptures and implement the prayers in their own circumstances, believing and seeking the Lord for healing in their lives too. The Author was born in Long Beach, California; but have lived most of her life in Houston, Texas. And the blessed mother of one son. Graduated from Texas Southern University, Health Education/ Economics. Completed studies from the Ministry Development Institute, certificate of license in "The Gospel Ministry". Six years, as a Coordinator, Interdisciplinary Studies, Medical-Terminology Instructor, School of Allied Health Sciences; University of Texas Health Science Center. Seven years, middle school teacher, and twelve years, employed by the State of Texas, Specialist IV, Caseworker. Recently retired. The Author is a recent breast cancer survivor! Loves traveling, reading, exercising, playing tennis, crafts, gardening, writing, photography, cooking, and ministering the word of God to others. I thank you for reading this book.
