Slowly, but surely, I force myself to buy a ticket for a different route, leave my worn baggage behind, and climb aboard for more adventures.I chug along, experiencing good, bad, and ugly relationships until my "aha moment" appears, evolve into my true self, and find "the one."
I felt compelled to not only share my challenging, impactful journey with you but also to provide inspiration and opportunities for deeper reflection so you may live your life with more confidence and peace. Although it took decades for me to become my true self, I explain how I got through it and came out on the other side. Let your own emotions go, as I retell stories of relationships through crocodile tears as well as my irreverent but endearing sense of humor. I sometimes found myself laughing so hard at my own memories, I had to change my clothes.
I hope my transformation awakens you to new possibilities. Life is too short to give up on you. Let this book be a source of light, hope, and the spark that reminds you that you can have a life full of happiness, gratitude, self-love and the relationship of your dreams if that's what you want, no matter what path in life you are on.
