Love’s Call To Madness

This narrative focuses on a common thread and recurring theme of bullying, narcissism and extremism. No matter where the abuse came from (extremist Christians, jealous co-workers or narcissistic neighbours), the protagonist overcomes each hurdle and is victorious, despite the most horrendous development of events.

Our personal journeys through challenging experiences and emotions, define who we are and what we become. The connections we make with others can both encourage and demoralize us. How we deal with others and decide what to internalize, what to dismiss and what to attribute to our own self image, is a necessary part of the human experience. Meaningful connections can help us through our bravest and most heartbreaking moments. However it is the difficult relationships and encounters that build resilience. Understanding our own stories gives our lives meaning.

We live in a time when falsehoods assault us from every direction. Packaged with just enough truth to make them appear trustworthy, these counterfeits online, in churches and in our neighbourhoods, have become difficult to avoid. The actions of deceivers, bullies, narcissists, sociopaths, psychopaths and other toxic personalities are harmful to society. They confuse accepted truths by mixing them with lies. Void of conscience, they develop sinister plans to harm others that are so vile, it defies belief. They use emotions to hook others into their negative, distorted world views. Then they attribute their bad behavior and crimes as characteristics and actions belonging to their target victims. In short, they create storms filled with psychological torture and mental health issues for normal caring people.

Evil does exist and we fight it daily in a grand drama of spiritual warfare. This story provides real life examples of such battles. Whether we realize it or not, we are all combating demons, in some way, every day and are being helped by angels, We don't see it however when we assume familiar daily events are just ordinary occurrences. It is important therefore to equip and train ourselves to be aware of the battles brewing and overcome the overt expressions of hate, that will come, if we oppose toxic situations and people. These struggles strengthen character and help us remember who we are. Embracing our true self and practicing virtue that flows from a need for truth and integrity, with consciousness and thought, enables us to harness our innate power, Through such personal transformation, we can wield better tools to execute a more effective way to change the world for the better.

This story is a blueprint for how to respond with love, to save ourselves and the world from the growing prevalence of destructive behaviours plaguing our communities today. It is also a hope that others who are suffering abuse, will take heart and know they are not alone. This story challenges us to live life well, with a pure heart, with an awakened conscience and with great courage, in order to answer love's call in a world filled with madness and hate.
