Things That Matter by Linda Fritchlee not only includes a collection of her own personal stories, but it incorporates a combination of exhortations on issues most commonly experienced among women today. As a mentor and encourager, Fritchlee understands that women need each other's support and encouragement; thus, Things That Matter was written with the intention of helping women push through their fears and move forward with the breath of the life God intended them to live. Women are often robbed of experiencing the fullness of life as they struggle with life's most intense issues because often, they may not have the skills needed to guide them toward a successful resolve. If any of us could figure it out, we wouldn't need faith in God. We all get stuck! But rarely does God take us linearly to an expected end; our journey is chocked-full of tests, encumbered with detours and U-Turns, intentionally prepared for our spiritual development and our journey toward healing. Linda lives in Atlanta with her husband Jim. While her three sons are her rewards, Linda always hoped for a daughter, and as a result, the Lord's tender-heartedness provided her with spiritual daughters with whom she has had the honor of coaching and mentoring over several decades. She believes women are God's masterpiece of femininity, whom He has crowned with grace and resilience! Every woman is beautiful and has invaluable worth, deserving of being cherished and celebrated. As the virtuous woman spoken of in Proverbs 31, the Lord clothes such a woman with strength and dignity so that she can laugh at the days to come because her ultimate trust is in Him. As an encourager and fellow traveler, Linda hopes that the reader's courage in the face of adversity will be her crown and that she will hang onto Things That Matter.
