.Air Marshal VPS Rana retired as AOA and served in many important operational and administrative appointments. He headed the IAF Administration during COVID crisis and coordinated the overall IAF effort in supplies, administration and medical response. Before that he worked as Principal Director AF Works, SOA Training Command, ACAS AF Works and DG (Administration).
He is recipient of presidential awards, Vishist Sewa Medal and Param Vishist Sewa Medal.
