There are many theories pertaining to the existence of the physical and non-physical realms through science, philosophy, and religion, and inevitably this leads to the rift in how the interaction of entities in the universe is understood. Approaches differ based on the fundamentals that make up the sympathetic alliance that defines where we come from, why we are here and where we may end. It is not an overstatement to say that 'wars have been waged' because of this one subject matter; more questions have been asked and fewer answers have been established. Over time, science, philosophy, and religion have found the rift between them becoming narrower even though entitlement to defend a standpoint has made it difficult to admit we are possibly at odds about a topic that should unite us. There are many theories and beliefs pertaining to the existence of the universe, nature, and beings but we have never been further away from finding a uniting point as we are in this millennium. This book acknowledges that these forces, or energies, do influence life even though we do not always know what they mean, but ignoring their presence and influence will not make them less significant. We have been at odds for so long that sometimes it seems the only reason we are at odds is because it is the only thing we know how to do. We have been conditioned for so long to defend entitlement to our own beliefs that we totally disregard the simple question of 'What if we're not as different as we thought?' In fact, what if we are not different at all and the only thing that is different is the sympathetic alliance we pledge? 'Shadows in the Dark' will take you through this difficult but must-have discussion and through carefully chosen subjects we will initiate a conversation that has been ignorantly and conveniently avoided and, in some instances, swept under the rug for far too long.
