In "The Case of the Cookies", siblings Aliyah and Chadwick decide to bake a batch of delicious cookies. As they mix and measure ingredients, they can't wait to taste their sweet treats. But when they turn their backs for just a moment, one of the cookies goes missing!
Aliyah is a young African-Canadian girl who lives with her mother, father, and younger brother Chadwick. The book series follows Aliyah and Chadwick as they work together on problem-solving missions in their hometown of Silverkeep. Aliyah and Chadwick have skills unique to problem solving, Aliyah is an inventor and Chadwick is a math whiz. Assisted by her invented gadgets and brother, each book in the series follows the duo interacting with various members of their community as they solve daily problems. Adventures with Aliyah is a children's book series focused on problem solving for ages 3 and up. The series provides a meaningful way for young children to develop decision-making skills, logical reasoning, creativity, and more.
