Master's in biology About the authors Priit Tammjarv, MD Priit Tammjarv works as a cardiologist-lecturer at the Department of Cardiac Surgery of the Tartu University Hospital. During his decades of experience, he has seen extremely serious consequences to which people's unawareness or their inconsiderate attitude towards their health has led. In this book, Dr. Tammjarv addresses the aspects of health that, by turning attention to them, anyone can do something to achieve a longer life. He believes in honestly talking about issues and, through it, motivating people is the first step towards a better future. Peep Sooman Peep Sooman is a former journalist and the author of many books. In the context of this book, he mostly took the role of a writer. However, he's familiar with health issues already from his childhood when he, with the help of doctors, got cured from a severe chronic disease.
