The first book in the series is called Penny Learns About Pennies and as the story unfolds, the Grand Deer (Penny) gains valuable insights learns about money for the first time when she finds a coin on the ground and Grandma Deer teaches her, in very easy-to-understand terms, what currency is, and how to increase its value through saving.
Moreover, she begins discussions at this early age about the value of saving to get the things you want and need in life. Grandma Deer has the unique ability to make financial decisions a normalized and integral part of her family life.
The learning will continue in Book 2 of the four-book series as Penny's brother, 'Lil Buck Learns About Bucks, coming soon.
