內容簡介
Professional wrestling offers unparalleled excitement and perks, but aging wrestlers face challenges when they can no longer compete.
This is the reality for Mohawk Jones, formerly "The Fightin' Brave," a retired Native American wrestler. Once a beloved star, Mohawk now feels aimless, missing his glory days. He shares a home with his former rival, "The Sinister Punjabi" Cobra Tara Singh, an elderly East Indian man who also longs for his wrestling past. These two grumpy old men, with their cultural differences, bicker constantly as they navigate their golden years.
Their lives change when Mohawk's illegitimate daughter Emily, a spirited young woman, arrives seeking to connect with her father and train as a pro wrestler. This sets Mohawk and Cobra on a path of redemption. They channel their knowledge into Emily, pushing her to her limits in preparation for her wrestling career. Emily's training culminates in her first match, catching the eye of Tom Victory, the top promoter of the Universal Grappling Federation (UGF). While Emily is thrilled, Mohawk worries if the opportunity might be too good to be true.
Two Old Indians by Jagjiwan Sohal delves into the vibrant world of professional wrestling, exploring the lives of retired stars and their transition out of the spotlight.
