A compilation of two Factory Workshop Manuals: 1) A reproduction of the original 1948 to 1955 manual for the 350cc & 500cc pre-unit 'Bullet' models. 2) A reproduction of the 1956 to 1962 second series manual for the pre-unit 350cc and 500cc 'Bullet' which includes the pre-unit 'Clipper', 'Trials Works Replica' and 'Airflow' models. It will also be of use to owners of the 500cc Enfield Indian 'Woodsman' and 'Westerner'. Owners of the 350cc unit-construction 'New Bullet' introduced in 1963 are directed to workshop manual ISBN 9781588502841.
Royal Enfield was very adept at utilizing components across their entire model line and this 'sharing' carried over into their workshop manuals. Consequently, many of the sections and illustrations are identified as being appropriate for various models and not necessarily specific to the particular model referenced in the manual title.
