I wake up enthused to go work every day because my passion is real estate. I enjoy mentoring real estate agents to become knowledgeable in all aspects of real estate, and I want the agents who work in our real estate brokerages to be the best they can be and do everything they can to help all of our clients achieve their goals. Our brokerage teaches home sellers and real estate investors how to sell real estate for the highest price possible.
Throughout this book, I will often refer to "your home", "the home" or "a home". I am referring to any real estate holding you may have in your current investment portfolio including your investment properties or primary residence. Your real estate holdings are generally larger investments than any other asset in your portfolio. So, it begs the question; "If you were selling a car of lesser value, would you clean the inside and wash the outside before presenting it to a potential buyer?" I think you would. Since your real estate investments are typically larger than most other investments, it makes sense to present the asset to prospective buyers in the most attractive way possible. In this book you will learn a variety of options to prepare a home for sale. You can assess the home preparation options and apply all or just those measures necessary to maximize your return on your investment.
Selling Real Estate also includes having focused marketing plan that targets the most prospective buyers in the shortest time. Because the longer your home for sale stays on the market the lower the price will be that you can achieve.
To obtain the highest price possible in the shortest time you need to make all the pieces work in harmony so that you do not go through the stress related to a longer number of days on the market than is necessary.
If you follow the steps in this book you will realize a far greater return on your real estate investment and you will sell any home in a much shorter period of time than the competition. John Brink
