Feisty Amira, daughter of an Egyptian mother and Canadian father, artist and self-styled entrepreneur, meets her nemesis, Miss Balgrave, at the Tel Aviv airport. Amira is cheeky, insolent, and looking for an easy target that will garner a few bucks. However, before she knows it, Amira is caught in a web of intrigue, political terrorism, and just plain conniving, and on her way to Cairo, Egypt to top it off! The police are on her trail, and Amira finds herself on a collision course with the the State Security Investigations Services of Egypt. In addition, Miss Balgrave's group of hooligans are keeping watch on her. What does Amira need to do to successfully keep herself out of an Egyptian prison, navigate her way through Miss Balgrave's scheme, the maze of Cairo streets, and life in the Middle East? Amira knows how to survive and navigate the brutal world of scheming ambitious men and women.
