Yet tender as he is, sees himself in the melting skin of his grandlove who now the community he built calls a witch. There are parts of me here that remained untold until this moment, things that my family do not know about me. But like the phoenix bird that builds a nest of wood, burns it and sits in the heart of the flames because it understands that transformation means sacrifice.
