Our life purpose is to realize this fundamental truth while still living. This understanding, and ultimate experience, is acquired by enhancing our spiritual intelligence. Like cognitive and emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence encompasses distinct elements, capabilities, and potentialities. Specifically, by enhancing our spiritual intelligence, we rise above the pervasive "me first" mentality associated with lower consciousness. By raising the vibrational frequency of our consciousness, we awaken into a more heightened state of reality; a present-focused reality distinctly separate from our past experiences. We have the ability to rise above the common self-serving mindset linked to lower levels of consciousness and its numerous character flaws, including greed and envy; chaos and conflict; insecurity and anxiety; thus, we can replace these traits with love and compassion, as well as peace and happiness. The cherished experiences of love and happiness are not found by simply searching for them as if they were items on a scavenger hunt; instead, they are qualities of the Soul that must be nurtured from within. When love and happiness arise from the pursuit of external desires, they become dependent on those objects of desire; consequently, they are fleeting and unpredictable rather than enduring,
The Epiphany employs the Spiritualization Process to enable the essential awakening state, aiming with the goal of recognizing and detaching from lower consciousness, thereby attaining elevated levels of spiritualization. In essence, by obtaining genuine spiritual knowledge, one gains profound spiritual insight, which fosters heightened awareness and enhanced perception, awakening us to a more radiant experience of existence. The novice seeker asks: How did we become forgetful and disoriented about our spiritual identity? There are three key reasons we fall into a false identity while remaining oblivious to our true spiritual essence. First, we are distracted by the sensory aspects of physical life, while the spiritual dimension remains concealed. Second, we are instinctively attracted to the charm of fleeting fantasies, from ice cream and cake to adultery, as they appear to offer pleasures that resonate with our self-interest. Third, we are swayed by erroneous reasoning arising from misguided previous conditioning. It is indisputable that the physical realm is far more apparent than the subtle structure of the spiritual. While the material world requires no effort or special insight to observe, the spiritual is hidden from all but those who have attained spiritual awakening.
Spiritual awakening is the result of expanded awareness and enhanced perception, leading to a deeper understanding of ourselves and the reality that surrounds us. This is not a quick fix advertised on a late-night infomercial. Rather, it is a dedicated, gradual journey of spiritual and self-discovery. To embark on this journey, one simply needs to adopt the perspective of a detached, unbiased observer, maintain a receptive and open mindset, and nurture a grateful and yearning heart.
