What began as a night of sanctuary, swiftly turns into a battle against demonic forces all around her...and within her own father.Next, cleanse your pallet and prepare for the Treacle journey of a teenage boy by the name of Darrian Travis. Darrian is isolated and misunderstood, a bookish young black male with the sensibilities of a renaissance man from an age long past. Drowning in a sea of toxic masculinity, tormented constantly at school and often alone at home, Darrian finds love in the most unexpected of places. Once again, Hyperion enters into the lives of our protagonists, and Darrian and his friends and beloved find themselves pulled into the center of a paranormal war for the city of Evergrove against the demonic gangster Diamond.Completing our trio of flavor is the Saccharine nature of Kashiya Hawthorn's odyssey. A Pollyanna through and through, Kashiya will find her sweet spirit put to the test as she fights to hold on to her sanity and sense of self in the aftermath of Bitter and Treacle.
