His shadow beasts have tried for centuries to help their demon find a mate. Their wild streaks collide, resulting in an injury. The only witch in Midhaven who can patch Dezmond up is hot, curvy, and magically single. She also happens to own a dragon egg.
When the dragon egg hatches, Victoria and Dezmond are thrown into an ancient magical ritual, one that will bond them as mates. To form a lasting bond, they will need more than luck if they are to master the elements. As Victoria battles her fears of having her cancer return, Dezmond battles a new shadow beast that wants to claim her as his own. Will the two end up as mates, or will the wild magic they discover transform them?
