A gargoyle, trapped in a prison of marble, resides atop the dias, unmoving. But not for long.
The moment Baezal hears the cries of the small human woman locked inside his church, the bounds of his curse are released, freeing him from the century he spent as a statue. With his newfound freedom, leaving the church is the last thing on his mind as he takes in Willow. One look at her and he knows everything has changed for him.
