LOST IN THE WOODS Searching for solace
This book is a collection of 18 poems based on different themes, but focused on the varieties of emotions and experience that a person can come across his life. I hope this would be relatable to most of the readers as it brings out the distress and blessings of life at the same time. There are a few imaginary context which may seem thrilling and mysterious. Some poems are warm and joyful while others appear a little intense and dark.

The Unspoken In Between
The Unspoken In Between is a meditation on becoming-through weather, silence, love, and pain. Moving from buried roots to open sky, these poems trace a journey through grief and growth, chaos and clarity, asking what it means to listen deeply to the self and the world that shapes it. Nature, the body, and the act of creation recur as living forces, guiding the speaker toward a home not found, but remembered. Revisiting symbols that deepen with maturity. This collection does not offer answers so much as presence. It invites readers to linger in the spaces between breaking and healing, between who we were and who we are still becoming.
MIND PEACE Through Graceful Submission
You know, sometimes you just wish that people could just sit and listen to you talk about life and the journey, but there is just simply not enough time. The purpose here in this 3rd book of prophetic poetry, I just desired that God would take it to a new level. Not so much as higher level but just different so that people would be reached where they are. I don't like people to feel forced into following. God wants people to want Him. Life will forever be life and people should feel safe to believe again, believe in something different from a fear tactic. I want people to read this book in the mind set of just talking it out. Relax and just hear God, not the world.
Hope is a drug
This book was written at a crucial transition phase of her life when she was living on the brink of hope. That ray of hope was also dimming when she decided to start writing in order to feel more alive.
The Whispering Wind Book of Poems
This collection of poems offers a rich variety of topics such as bears, descriptions of places in nature, resting, and even the opera. Poems present in such a unique way that they really encourage the reader to think. One poem even talks about a recipe for love. The poems invite the reader to ponder the storm and explore the concept of why some people like to write. One poem describes the letters A and I, one why noise isn't quiet, and one even asks the question will the real truth about death only be known after dying.

Where the Healing Grows is a poetic journey through the layers of rebuilding. Through the hurt you outgrow, the softness you reclaim, and the strength you learn to stand in. This collection follows the arc of healing with honesty and tenderness, moving through self-doubt, identity, connection, courage, and transformation. Each poem invites you to pause and recognize the pieces of yourself you may have forgotten. A blend of vulnerability and empowerment, Where the Healing Grows offers readers a place to feel understood, seen, and reminded that growth is always possible, even in the quietest moments.

Each poem reflects a different emotional journey, capturing moments of heartbreak, unbreakable bonds, and lingering nostalgia. The book reassures readers that it is okay to lose, to pause, and sometimes to let go, while reminding them of the strength that lies within. Some poems are inspired by the real-life struggles and emotions of others, making this collection deeply relatable and heartfelt.
I Loved You until I didn't A slow goodbye in fragments
This book is about how betrayal in relationships can affect the feeling of a person. The stages of that part of life, starting from the pain of betrayal to acceptance and walking away to finally healing and moving on, has been expressed in the words of the writer. Any relative situation does not depict any incident. If any, whatsoever, may be purely co-incidental.
स्वर्णिमा शब्दों की एक सुनहरी यात
This poetry collection by Alok Yadav brings together reflections on village life, nature, and the changing world around us. Through simple yet thoughtful verses, the book questions whether our idea of progress-cutting trees, polluting rivers, and distancing ourselves from nature-is truly progress. It also explores life's deeper truths: how we live, what we value, and who we choose to become. Each poem invites readers to pause, feel, and rethink their connection with the world.
One Quiet Line
"One Quiet Line" is a poetry collection about listening-to silence, to fatigue, to belief as it falters. Moving from light to shadow and back again, these poems explore loss without spectacle, faith without certainty, and hope without insistence. Written in moments of stillness, fracture, and return, the book resists easy answers and grand conclusions. Instead, it stays with the ordinary, the unfinished, and the quietly human-offering attention where clarity loosens and meaning briefly reveals itself before retreating again.

This book is for readers who believe healing isn't linear, strength can be quiet, and staying is sometimes enough.

These words are for anyone who has felt unseen, overwhelmed, or afraid to slow down and is ready to return to herself. Life's Little Notes
Life's Little Notes is a quiet companion for the days that feel too heavy and the moments that slip by too quickly. Written by a young poet who believes words can change lives, Life's Little Notes unpacks life in its rawest and realest form through tiny sparks of poetry that speak to your own untold stories. Ebb and Flow - Crovie then and now
Ebb and Flow - Crovie Then and Now is a two-part poetry collection that carries the voice of a small Scottish fishing village across generations, shaped by the rhythms of the sea and the lives bound to it.The first half reaches back to a time before the herring boom, drawing on the imagined voices of fishermen, wives, and children to recreate a way of life built on labour, weather, and community. Nets are hauled, lines are set, and days are measured not by clocks but by tide and light. These poems echo with the textures of salt, stone, and sea-spray, offering a grounded and immersive sense of the past without romanticising its hardships. The second half turns toward the present-day village, where the pace has shifted but the pull of place remains just as strong. Here, the poems explore themes of love, loss, memory, and belonging, shaped by personal experience and the changing realities of coastal life. The voices are quieter, more intimate, but still rooted in the same narrow streets and open horizons.Together, the two sections mirror the movement of the tide itself, drawing out the contrasts and continuities between then and now. The collection reflects on what has been lost, what has endured, and what continues to evolve, capturing the fragile balance between history and modern life in a place that refuses to be forgotten.Written from within the village itself and with a deep affection for people, heritage, and landscape, Ebb and Flow is both a tribute and a record, a book about carrying stories forward, holding on to identity, and finding meaning in the steady, stubborn rhythm of life lived at the edge of the sea.

Year of Valentines
In Year of Valentines, John Reed writes 80+ valentines to "you" (the loved one, the missed one, the lost one), and to New York City itself. Passionate and cool tempered, Reed's second collection of sonnets sees creative origins in the No Wave movement-the set of his childhood-with its splendor of dissipation, and merciless affections.
Valley Therapy
Valley Therapy is a thrilling journey through the peaks and valleys we all face in life. 26 poems sharing the beauty and despair of life and the lessons we can learn from both. Nature is such an apt metaphor for life, hence plastered all through the pages as nature does in all our lives.
enspiralled a soul's breath
enspiralled - a soul's breath sparkles with an earthly mysticism. This poetry collection is a pilgrimage through the moss whispers and myrtle spirits of Lutruwita/Tasmania and Patagonia de Chile, as Moran follows the yearning of an infinite soul to find home here, amongst this exact moment. These are the kind of poems which beg us to sing to mountains, pray to stars, and to remember.
Lemonade Grenade
Gordon's debut collection of poetry is an explosion of love, joy, grief and pain. Angry and tender, sensual and serious, this collection - with its witchy undertones - is pumping with the punk poet's spirit.
Hex & Flesh
Hex & Flesh is a book that doesn't wait politely at the threshold; it beckons you into the dark with a crooked finger and a promise you'll pretend you didn't want. These thirty-five incantations slip between shadows and skin, blending the Craft with the slow burn of queer desire. Here, Magick hums beneath tattoos, bruises bloom like forbidden flowers, and gender shimmers as a spell best whispered against someone's throat. You don't have to believe in witchcraft to feel the pull. These poems flirt with your doubt, tease your certainty, and dare you to follow them deeper.Open this grimoire if you like your truth a little feral, your art a little dangerous, and your transformation kissed with smoke and sin.Come closer. It's only a spell if you say yes.
Lye
Lye poetically and thematically follows the ingredients of soap making-ash, water, and oil-to explore how one might wash their hands of a messy and traumatic past. If ash represents the frail damage after fire has its way, and if water represents the emotional response thereafter, then these elements would combine only to create lye: a stinging, caustic compound that reminds too much of the original flame. Yet this is exactly how generational trauma continues-a cycle of burning and burning. It would seem the final and often-missing ingredient to transform lye into something cleansing is nothing but oil: softness and levity. How might we caress such a soothing balm onto our rawest wounds? How might we turn the endless cycle of reactivity into something new, fresh, and fragrant? Lye doesn't balk in its offering of candor, poetry, and memory as it suggests its answer to these important questions.
Typewriter
The private matters of Hetherington's Typewriter are thinly veiled behind an ever so gently crafted prose, causing the reader to walk in the poet's shoes, and tripping over lines like 'a diary from a shelf. It says she doesn't love him', evoking unwelcome memories. These are poems that know how intimately language and feeling are bound - how a love letter vanishes with the same regularity as beating wings, how promises dissolve like crystals in water, how decades of a shared life can collapse into seven words. Hetherington writes in two interlocking sequences, Typewriter and Manuscript, and between them they enact precisely what they describe: the attempt to recover, through writing, what writing itself cannot quite hold. The prose poem is the ideal form for this undertaking. Its sentences move with the unhurried confidence of someone who has thought carefully about what they are about to say - and then said something slightly different. Meaning arrives slant, in the gap between what is spoken and what is understood, between the key that drops into an overgrown yard and the lock it no longer fits. Memory here is not a reliable archive but a palimpsest, layered and partially whited-out, and the reader is invited to read between those erasures. The effect is quietly cumulative: by the time Hetherington drafts an obituary for the living, or traces a grandmother's drowning beneath a canal's mustard-yellow surface, or watches a figure swim towards him like an ungainly mermaid, the emotional weight has been building so steadily that its arrival feels both surprising and inevitable. What makes this collection distinctive is its tonal restraint. There is no performance of anguish here, no raised voice. The grief is real but it is worn lightly, carried the way one carries 'a crumpled letter in an overcoat pocket' - present at all times, occasionally smoothed out and re-read, never quite digestible. Hetherington's language reaches always towards precision - flavours as purple as lustrous aubergine, adverbial pleasure, prepositional intimations - and it is in that reaching, that never-quite-arriving, that the poems find their truth.
Sirenland
Sirenland - A new poetry collection by Jennifer Barone, published by Feather Press, featuring original, 24 color illustrations and photographs by the author. A reclamation of personal lineage - Sirenland is a mythic conversation across time with the poet's ancestors from the Bay of Naples, Italy. Ancestral spirits rise from sea caves and memory - as the poet reimagines her grandparents as sirens, singing stories long submerged. In this collection, the sirens are not feared monsters but radiant guardians of land, sea, and the Napoletani people-mystic mothers and keepers of thresholds. The ache of ancestral loss and immigration threads through grottos and sea caves of oracular whisper, as Vesuvio stirs with ancestral fire and the sea becomes a liminal realm of longing, alchemy, and rebirth.Though the sirens' voices have been silenced over centuries, these poems listen deeply, inviting their songs to be heard by all who are ready to receive them.
Rising Up From The Underground`
Poetry that confronts injustice-and refuses to stay silent.Rising Up From The Underground is a powerful collection of poems that exposes human rights abuses across the world. Through vivid imagery and rhythmic intensity, Kathy O'Grady Bose gives voice to the silenced-girls sold into slavery, survivors of violence, victims of war, and communities crushed by injustice. These poems move beyond political commentary into something deeper and universal. Each piece reveals the human cost of oppression while calling readers to awareness, compassion, and action. From gender-based violence and racial injustice to war and survival, this collection is both a witness and a warning-reminding us that hope and resistance can still rise from the darkest places.A fearless and deeply human poetry collection for readers who care about justice, truth, and the power of words.
Mudman
Mudman, a special honoree for the 2023 Able Muse Book Award, is the second full-length poetry collection by Jane McKinley. The poems interweave personal memory with historical and natural landscapes, moving between experiences of family, grief, and illness and broader meditations on war, ecology, and cultural inheritance. Drawing on images of music, myth, and daily life, McKinley examines how private stories intersect with collective histories, and she reflects on the persistence of memory and art as means of understanding loss, continuity, and resilience.PRAISE FOR MUDMAN: Jane McKinley's beautiful collection of poems is striking for her observations of natural things which are so close, so true, as to reveal, paradoxically, what it is to be human. At times the things she sees lead her to great music and art, as when she finds in a bird's feather "the unearthly blue / Fra Angelico used / for angels who witness / the Virgin ascending." The high point of this collection, though, is when she writes vividly of her father, who fought in World War II. Here she shows us the price of war and the absurdity of it. These poems are intense, authentic, and hard-won.-Grace SchulmanI'm always delighted to learn a new word from poetry, and in "marcescent"-as when leaves wither yet cling to the bough-Jane McKinley has found a figure for elegy: "No time to prepare / for the loss so the dead keep rattling on." McKinley's heartbreaking poems are haunted by the ghosts of family and friends who have gone on before her, often much too soon. At the center of Mudman are poems-some "found" in letters-about McKinley's father, a World War II veteran whose death continues to possess the poet's psyche. Her many deft descriptions of nature dovetail with such losses, presenting a world in which elegy and legacy combine. A bracing, affecting collection.-David YezziJane McKinley's Mudman has the kind of magnitude that recalls Robert Lowell's Life Studies and Amy Clampitt's The Kingfisher. I mean that McKinley achieves tremendous narrative breadth even as she reveals a lyric focus so fine that her poems incandesce. Whether mourning the loss of family and friends, attending to the natural world, or chronicling her father's service in North Africa and Italy during the Second World War, McKinley allows her subjects to break through the page, displaying their unique particularity, even as she makes her own vital sense in exquisite sentences and lines. To read these poems is to feel, as the poet writes of a hummingbird's song, "something shifted to fullness." Contemporary American poetry has more depth, and indeed more song, thanks to these superb poems. Mudman will be with us for a long time to come.-Peter CampionABOUT THE AUTHOR: Jane McKinley is a Baroque oboist who founded the Dryden Ensemble and served as its artistic director for nearly thirty years. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Northwestern University and an MFA in historical musicology from Princeton University. Twelve Desert Floods
TWELVE DESERT FLOODS: A Structural History of Egypt in Twelve Poems (Teacher Edition) reimagines the study of ancient Egypt through a precise and unconventional lens: system, not story.Rather than presenting history as a sequence of events, this book models civilization as a network of recurring processes-agriculture, writing, governance, trade, labor, and decline-each distilled into a short, structured poem. Every poem is built on a triad (three interdependent elements) that captures how a system forms, operates, and sustains itself over time. This approach shifts the role of the reader. Instead of asking what a poem "means," students and instructors examine what a system does-how it stabilizes, repeats, and produces continuity across generations. Each of the twelve poems is paired with detailed instructor notes, including: clear historical contextdirect system correspondences to ancient Egyptian lifefocused discussion prompts aligned to each triadThe result is a flexible teaching tool that integrates seamlessly into lessons, lectures, or independent study. The poems are concise enough to introduce or reinforce key concepts without replacing core historical material, while the accompanying notes support deeper analysis and comparison.Designed for secondary and introductory postsecondary classrooms, the book supports: pattern recognition across historical systemsanalysis of cause, effect, and continuityinterdisciplinary connections between environment, society, and structureBy emphasizing repetition, stability, and process, TWELVE DESERT FLOODS offers a clear, rigorous alternative to narrative-based history-one that reveals how civilizations persist not through isolated events, but through systems that endure.Part of the Twelve Series, this volume contributes to a larger body of work examining how similar structural patterns emerge across different times, places, and domains.
Some Other God
Some Other God fearlessly tackles death and what happens after a family breaks down in a distinct Jewish setting. Within this breakdown is this exploration of other traumas that have been bubbling under the surface, including the effects of mental, spiritual, and family disturbance.
The Weight of Resolve
The Weight of Resolve is a visceral collection of poetry exploring the evolution of the human psyche under pressure-where desire becomes compulsion, restraint fractures, and consequence is inevitable.Spanning nearly two decades of writing, this collection traces a deliberate progression from internal conflict to external action, from fractured thought to irreversible outcome. Each section builds upon the last, revealing a consistent thematic core: constraint, escalation, inevitability, and the cost of choice. What begins as introspection deepens into darker territory-obsession, violence, psychological unraveling-before arriving at its final anchor: reality. At its center lies a raw autobiographical piece that reframes everything that came before it.This is not abstract poetry. This is structured descent. For readers drawn to dark psychological themes, horror-adjacent poetry, and works that prioritize tension, progression, and consequence over sentiment, The Weight of Resolve delivers a cohesive and unsettling experience.Every choice carries its consequence. Some just take longer to arrive.
In the Silence I Found Myself
When I finally sat still long enough to listen, I realized that silence isn't emptiness; it's truth. It's where the spirit breathes, where wounds begin to close, and where the pieces of who we are start to find their way back home. Born in the quiet spaces between grief and healing, chaos and clarity, In the Silence, I Found Myself is a powerfully evocative collection of poetry that gives strong and resonant voice to the lived experiences of Canada's Inuit and other Indigenous peoples. For generations, they've been forced into silence by cruelly indifferent colonizers and the governmental-policy makers who have refused to listen to any voices but their own. But in that silence, there is strength. There is healing. And there is hope.
Blue Light
Blue Light is a collection of found poetry, lyrics, stories, and diary entries that chronicles the life, creativity, and soul of a complex man. In writing that is vulnerable, witty, and profound, Harvey bares his heart and soul on the page as he delves into the themes of his Italian family roots, childhood memories, friendships, passions, demons, losses, and loves. These are but some of the intertwined threads that shaped Harvey, the golden boy whose childhood traumas eventually led him to seek solace in alcohol and drugs. His substance use rapidly escalated to a dependency on opioids, in all available forms, that almost took his life on several occasions. In his own words, we hear the voice of a man expressing the darkness of despair and the blue-light elation at finding sobriety. This deeply moving, personal history is one which everyone struggling with the helplessness and the shame that shrouds addiction can relate to and find hope.

Living with the After
What do you do when the person you built your life around is suddenly gone? This powerful and deeply personal poetry collection explores what it truly means to grieve - not just in the immediate aftermath of loss, but in the long, quiet days that follow, when carrying on can feel almost impossible.Written after the death of the author's partner, Darren, these poems speak from inside real grief. They move through the raw early days of loss, the loneliness that so often goes unseen, and the slow, fragile return to living - all while holding onto a love that never disappears.Honest, unflinching, and deeply compassionate, this book does not try to fix grief or rush it along. Instead, it offers something far more important: the feeling of being understood. For anyone who has lost someone they love - a partner, a soulmate, a life companion - these poems will resonate deeply. They remind us that grief is not something to overcome, but something we learn to carry, because love does not end. This is a book for the quiet moments. For the days when the world moves on without you.For the times when you need to know that what you are feeling is real.Above all, it is a book that says: you are not alone.
Anima
What if emotion were a form of knowledge and poetry the language through which we learn to become whole.Animais a contemporary bilingual poetry collection that traces the inner journey of individuation through love, loss, memory, and spiritual awakening. Written in both Romanian and English, the book unfolds as a lyrical map of the human psyche, inspired by the Jungian concept of the anima as the inner mirror through which we encounter ourselves and others.Structured in carefully composed sections, the poems move between the intimate and the philosophical, the corporeal and the cosmic. Love appears not only as romance, but as longing, devotion, rupture, and healing. Time bends, memory becomes tactile, and the body speaks alongside the soul. Nature, astrology, mythology, and everyday life converge into a symbolic landscape where light and shadow coexist. At once raw and contemplative, Anima explores what it means to feel deeply in a world that often demands restraint. It is a meditation on identity, vulnerability, grief, desire, and the quiet resilience of becoming human, but a doubling of voice, offering readers two resonant paths into the same emotional truth. This book is for readers of contemporary literary poetry who seek depth rather than simplicity, meaning rather than consolation. It invites you to slow down, to read with both intellect and heart, and to recognize fragments of your own inner life reflected in its verses.Anima is not a book to be consumed quickly. It is a space to inhabit, a mirror to stand before, and a reminder that to feel is not weakness, but a profound act of knowing.
Here & Thereafter
Personal and political collide in Alice Miller's fourth poetry collection, as she compares present-day Berlin, where she is a new mother, with the city her German-Jewish grandmother was forced to leave. Darting through bedrooms and empires, whispers and wars, bureaucracy and origin stories, these unpredictable poems invoke Mary Shelley, Homer, and the atom bomb to ask if we can ever find a new beginning. How many buildings and oceans, how many minutes and years, how many voices speak through us? And if the past is never past, can we ever repair the present?
