陳欽生（1949－），生於馬來西亞
1967年以僑生身分來臺，就讀國立成功大學化學工程系。
1971年因台南美國新聞處爆炸案被捕，卻以叛亂案獲判12年刑期。
1983年出獄，但被禁止返回馬來西亞，因無台灣身分證而流落街頭約三年。 1986年人生才真正開始。
2009年起，投身人權相關運動，並在白色恐怖景美與綠島紀念園區，長年擔任導覽志工，被大家暱稱為「生哥」。
本書由陳欽生親自執筆，紀錄成長歷程、受難遭遇與投身人權運動的生命軌跡，2023年經修訂後發行再版。
