The question I've been asked most in the last three years is, "Why would you sell THAT business?" We were high-profile and successful by every measure, but I was miserable. Selling a business is hard, but deciding to sell the business is even harder. It is an emotional process caused by the painful journey of business ownership. I had a successful exit, but it could have been different if I'd done a few key things in the last five years that I owned it. This book explains my emotional journey and the key decisions I could have made that might have changed the outcome for me.
