內容簡介
Sometimes in life, the hardest thing to do is to look deep within ourselves to find the answers to some of life's dilemmas. It can expose a great sense of vulnerability when we decide to peel away each layer of ourselves and delve into the good, the bad, and the ugly of our own existence. Although all these things combined with each of our life experiences create the person that we have grown to be, it's still a difficult task to encounter. In doing so, it's almost inevitable that we uncover some of the deepest pains, the happiest joys, the biggest regrets, the greatest accomplishments, the worst fears, the best attributes, and the many flaws that embody us as a person. There's a wide range of emotions that will accompany these things that will surely leave questions in our minds as we contemplate the decisions we've made and the roads we've traveled. Granted, this process is tough on us emotionally, but at the end of the process, it can prove to be an exhilarating experience that frees us of the baggage that we tend to hold on to.Now imagine if you decided to document all these emotions, fears, joys, regrets, mishaps, accomplishments and publish them for the world to read...The vulnerability that you felt will now be multiplied by a thousand as you invite everyone into your innerworld. Would the reader of these inner thoughts judge you? Laugh at you? Feel sorry for you? Cry with you? Maybe, but what about the people who may be going through the exact same emotions and thinking that no one can relate to the pain they are experiencing. That alone may give them the will to keep pushing through the obstacles that life has placed in their paths.The funny thing about emotions is that we all have them. Some of us disguise them a little better than others, but in each of us, they exist. That's what makes us human. The ability to share these emotions is a gift that not many of us possess. Those that are not blessed with this gift may never feel the relief that accompanies the purging and release of letting go of the baggage of past life's experiences. The toughest person that we will ever face and answer to is the one in the mirror. But once we find those answers, there may be millions of people that can learn from those experiencesAs in any book, you have to complete and close one chapter before you can open and enjoy the next one. So with that being said, I ask...when your book of life ends, will there be many open-ended unfinished chapters or will it flow like a great novel of experiences and journeys that were uncovered when you looked "In the Midst of Me"?
