For Parents and Caretakers:
There are advanced concepts of personal growth in this book. I'm well aware that they are advanced for children. And... I wish someone would have started teaching me every premise in this book well before I could truly understand. There are some difficult words that I encourage you to pause and talk through. I've included a glossary in the back to help define some of the words and have also provided some talking points so that you can dive in deeper into the concepts together. Some of these concepts I'm still trying to fully grasp as an adult, so let this be a learning experience together with you and the child you love. The more we know, the more we can grow. The more we dive into concepts we aren't quite sure about at first, the more we are able to expend our understanding. The more growth is a regular thing in our lives, the more we impact and change the world for the better for our future generations. I encourage you to get curious with your child. Ask questions. Have conversations. Listen to what they have to say about these concepts as well. My children have been my biggest teachers, as long as I allow myself to slow down enough to listen. I hope this book is a beautiful experience for you both and that you'll come back to it anytime you both need grounding and to be reminded of what you are and what you are not.
