Jesus provided the book of Revelation as a teaching tool. It teaches many different aspects of what is to come and what we can expect even now. The first three chapters are specifically written to provide information not only for the seven churches which they address but for all churches for all time. The messages provide instruction that is just as applicable today as it was when this prophecy was provided to John. The Lord has provided me inspiration that I share point to point aspects of this prophecy with each of you. It is time for us to receive His guidance to know specifics of how Jesus views how His church is functioning. You may have read others viewpoints but He provides His intent here for you to increase your understanding and your faith.This book will help you grow spiritually while providing a deeper understanding of Jesus and His plan for His church and how it is expressed in the Book of Revelation in the first three chapters. He points out how each church is under His scrutiny and that He is there among each one. He provides insights into acceptable conduct and what He views as unacceptable conduct or sin. He provides insights into the characteristics of the ways Satan is working in the church using opposition and those inside which promote false doctrines. He points out the rewards and punishments awaiting those who are disobedient. He even explains what constitutes the unpardonable sin. He exposes some of the predominant twisted teachings in the church today such as what prosperity is and what it means to take up your cross and follow Him. It is interesting how He uses the example of two churches, which have groups of mature Christians, and how they are expected to stand up against opposition and the fact that they will soon suffer consequences unlike what we are taught today. The christian life is not the bed of roses some present. They were told to expect imprisonment. They were told they would possibly be put to death because they were His followers. He demonstrates that worldly riches are not what defines His disciples on this earth. He even points to one church which has been lulled into disobedience because they had more than enough of earthly possessions. Each of the prophecies to these seven churches identify obstacles which we are to expect even in this time. He wants us to prove ministers who are not called by Him wrong. We need to identify false doctrine and those ministers and members who do not promote His gospel but falsely identify themselves as Christians for the sake of greed, self exaltation, power over men, or as agents for Satan.He uses these seven churches as a guide for us in the church today to equip us for the spiritual battles we are to face. May you follow the information provided in this book to allow the Holy Spirit to work the transformation of your worldly ways to the Holy righteous ways of the Holy God of us all. You see Jesus here wants you to experience rebirth or what it means to be truly born again. We are to come as we are but we are not expected to stay as we are.
