About the Author Emma Phillips is passionate about helping children explore the joy of rhythm and rhyme through books that connect with their experiences and welcome them in. She wrote Daddy and Me! to represent and reflect both her own childhood memories and the experiences of her children. The daddy relationship is one of the most formative and precious relationships that exists and there are a variety of ways that this can be captured in text. Some books are humorous, some factual and others, like Emma has created, aim to capture the magic that occurs when this relationship is just right! About the Illustrator Ricardo Rose is an emerging talent. His images are creative and funky yet have a depth that has perfectly transformed this ordinary daddy into the hero that his daughter sees him as. This is Ricardo's debut book illustration!
