內容簡介
The Test of Love: Brothers for Life is a fictional romantic novel that is written in an easy style to read, presenting the life of the characters and their journey in discovering God, love and new beginnings. Each one of the characters: Mike, Bella, Scott and their families and friends are carried through the beautiful adventure of life where, through courage and perseverance, they can achieve amazing things, learning how to navigate their lives with the Lord.
Mike, an amazing young man with a good career, decides to let go of the past and broken relationships and embarks on a new path of getting closer to the Lord. He is challenged by meeting Bella, a beautiful young lady that opens new doors for his heart and brings friendship and love in his life.
A door of connecting with his father's side of the family is opened by the Lord for Mike and he is learning to let go of the past and move forward by forgiving his father and brother, Scott. As the Lord works in all areas of his heart and life, Mike acts upon the desires of his heart and asks Bella for a date.
In Chapter 11 - Mike expresses his heart: "My life since I was walking with the Lord was different and slowly I was learning to walk on the new path. I was learning to pray and ask and how to listen and follow the Lord. I was developing a relationship with my loving Father. A relationship of trust and surrender it all and take a step at the time. This was a bit hard for me listening but I was doing a pretty good job. Listening and following the Spirit no matter what, was brilliant. It was good on one hand, but on the other hand I felt stretched in every area of my heart, mind and soul. I felt challenged and I felt on an adventure and felt carried through things I never imagined I would be able to do."
Mike learns to let the Lord lead him in the journey of restoration and connecting with his father and especial his brother Scott. The circumstances bring Mike near his brother, as being in hospital and going through ups and downs and being supported by Bella and his mother, Mike learns to trust and learn and wait upon the Lord.
After rejecting his brother numerous times and having no interest in a family reunion, Scott's heart is overflown with grace and a new door is open for a new beginning: brothers for life!
