Poverty in society is nothing new in the world. It has been continuing from time immemorial. In the present-day world, poverty is a chronic problem with a gradual increase year after year. All nations have their attention on eliminating poverty with utmost priority. But it is a matter of regret that the reduction of poverty is far away; instead, it is gradually increasing. The situation has been observed as the worst during the pandemic COVID-19 and the post-pandemic period. The United Nations has passed many resolutions to upgrade the living status of people since 1946. However, the reality is that there is no visible improvement as per available data. This book will help readers understand the actual reasons that have pushed many communities into poverty. Readers will enhance their knowledge in areas such as social injustice, war, unemployment, overpopulation, lack of education, unequal wealth distribution, political discrimination, inflation, and the increase in the price index. They will be able to discern who is responsible for these factors. All these issues are the root cause of generating more and more poor people on Earth. The author believes that readers will join him in the effort to eradicate poverty and establish global peace. This is urgently needed so that the situation does not spiral beyond the control of humanity worldwide.
About the Author:
Ajit is a M.Sc. in Mathematics. He has a wife and two daughters. He served LIC for 40 years and retired as Divisional Manager. He is a thoughtful man and tries to find out the actual reason for distressed people in the world by thorough research from different angles. He will be happy provided more and more people take interest in the referred topics for the welfare of all societies across the world.
