A Record of Buddhistic Kingdoms
Faxian (337 - c. 422) was a Chinese Buddhist monk and translator who traveled by foot from China to India, visiting sacred Buddhist sites in Central, South and Southeast Asia between 399-412 to acquire Buddhist texts. He described his journey in his travelogue, A Record of Buddhist Kingdoms. In 399, Faxian set out with nine others to locate sacred Buddhist texts.[2] He visited India in the early fifth century. He is said to have walked all the way from China across the icy desert and rugged mountain passes. He entered India from the northwest and reached Pataliputra. He took back with him Buddhist texts and images sacred to Buddhism. He saw the ruins of the city when he reached Pataliputra. Faxian's visit to India occurred during the reign of Chandragupta II. He is also renowned for his pilgrimage to Lumbini, the birthplace of Gautama Buddha (modern Nepal). However, he mentioned nothing about Guptas. Faxian claimed that demons and dragons were the original inhabitants of Sri Lanka

这本书的内容取自作者正在写作的《从五四到六四：20 世纪中国专制主义批判》（6 卷本）的第二卷第九章。这一章主题集中，自成系统，为公众之所需，12 万字的篇幅又正好满足一本小册子的容量，所以拎出这一章先行出版。书中详细讨论了第一次国共合作的缘起、合作中的冲突、为什么最后会走向分裂。作者的基本结论是：共产国际和中共的激进阶级革命战略与国民党温和的阶级调和战略不相容，是导致 1924 1927 年国共合作失败的根本原因，蒋介石"四一二清党"不过是这个冲突演变的结果而已。这个过程跌宕起伏，惊心动魄，充满了戏剧性。且目前占有的资料（包括共产国际的原始档案、共产党重要领导人的回忆、国民党方面的材料特别是蒋介石本人日记）已经让研究者可以较为准确地重新描述这段历史，并发现背后的真实逻辑。

No obstante haber impreso una edici籀n limitada de esta obra en 2005, he decidido publicarla nuevamente, pues considero que mis reflexiones hechas alrededor de un viaje a China y Corea que realic矇 en octubre de 2004, siguen vigentes 15 a簽os despu矇s y, m獺s a繳n, con la perspectiva de cambios radicales de gobierno que se viven en M矇xico a partir del 1 de diciembre de 2018.Podr穩an, mis opiniones e intento de aportaci籀n de ideas, ser poca cosa para la sociedad actual que busca celebridades, inventadas y creadas por los medios de comunicaci籀n, que enjuician y aconsejan sobre cualquier tema, ya sea en radio, televisi籀n o en las redes sociales, e inclusive, a trav矇s de conferencias "magistrales", pero que, en la realidad, est獺n m獺s comprometidos con su imagen y con el dinero que con la soluci籀n real de los problemas de M矇xico. No pretendo opinar sin que esto represente en m穩, un compromiso en la aportaci籀n de alternativas para la soluci籀n de los problemas que nos aquejan como pa穩s. Tampoco deseo hacerlo, sin que yo mismo est矇 comprometido con mis reflexiones e intente ponerlas en pr獺ctica en lo que est矇 a mi alcance.Siempre he pensado que llevo en mi persona la responsabilidad de cambiar mi propia actitud y mi comportamiento para cooperar, al menos en poco, en cambiar a mi pa穩s. Tambi矇n creo que hay mucha gente que opina y que quiere influir en los dem獺s con sus ideas y manera de pensar. Todo eso es necesario, no obstante, lo que m獺s necesitamos en M矇xico, es gente de 癒ACCI?N! Gente que se responsabilice por el bien propio y el de los dem獺s.En M矇xico ya tenemos suficiente con el s穩ndrome del estadio de f繳tbol, el cual consiste, en opinar desde la tribuna de todo lo que pasa en la cancha; mientras que, los verdaderos "comprometidos" en cambiar las condiciones del encuentro son los jugadores, los jueces y los entrenadores. El resto, que somos la gran mayor穩a, somos simples espectadores, que gritamos, nos desga簽itamos, pero, en los hechos, poco podemos hacer para cambiar las circunstancias. La diferencia respecto a ser espectador en el estadio, es que, como ciudadanos de este pa穩s, s穩 est獺 en nuestras manos hacer algo m獺s, que, por muy peque簽o que parezca, contribuir獺 a construir un M矇xico mejor que aumente nuestro orgullo de ser mexicanos y se manifieste todos los d穩as, no 繳nicamente el 15 y 16 de septiembre, el 5 de mayo, o cuando la selecci籀n nacional de f繳tbol, gana un irrelevante partido.Al empezar a leer el libro, estoy seguro que te identificar獺s inmediatamente con su contenido y te motivar獺 a vivir tus propias aventuras en pro de construir un M矇xico mejor. El libro lo titul矇 "Una Aventura para Compartir (Reflexiones)" con el fin de que los mexicanos aprendamos a COMPARTIR. Compartir triunfos y fracasos, conocimientos, bienes. Compartir, es una manera de hacer que nuestra vida cuente, dejando algo de nosotros en los dem獺s. Compartir es tambi矇n una manera de dejar huella y de hacernos, de alguna manera, eternos. No pretendo que sea un libro de consulta, el lector puede iniciar o continuar su lectura donde desee. Ruego, tambi矇n al lector, se concentre en el contenido, lo critique y lo mejore con esp穩ritu de cooperaci籀n, que como mexicanos debemos de tener en todo. Te pido perd籀n si crees que soy "malinchista" en algunas de mis reflexiones, la verdad es que en M矇xico, al igual que en los dem獺s pa穩ses de la tierra, hay cosas buenas y malas. En otros pa穩ses, al igual que en el nuestro, tambi矇n existe corrupci籀n, pobreza y maltrato humano, por lo que: Los mexicanos debemos de aprender a apreciar lo mejor de lo nuestro y tomar lo mejor del extranjero, la combinaci籀n de ambas cosas nos har獺 fuertes como naci籀n.

Una raccolta di emozioni, storie, sensazioni che l'autore, ha messo insieme dopo aver visitato molte volte questo paese anche per ragioni di lavoro. Il fatto che il viaggio si sia svolto proprio appena prima che si scatenasse il ciclone coronavirus e ne abbia sfiorato l'epicentro, ne ha condizionato molte osservazioni e motivazioni di interesse a posteriori. Ma la guida contiene anche indirizzi, ristoranti, hotel, negozi interessanti, itinerari, luoghi poco noti e tante piccole informazioni pratiche per chi 癡 interessato a viaggiare in questo continente con occhi aperti alla scoperta. Le aree del paese trattate comprendono zone non molto battute dal turismo internazionale e ci sono anche molte considerazioni sulla lingua e sulla cucina del luogo. Il libro contiene anche oltre 40 foto in B&W.
