Based on my own childhood, I am writing a book about a creative kid who gets bullied in a very specific way that I have not encountered in a children's book yet: only acknowledged when they are needed but invisible to the world when they are not. Weaved throughout the book are lessons of color theory, designed to help emerging arts know what colors to use in their own artwork when they want to convey certain emotions or moods.
