Significant to God
Rest assured that whether others know our name or not, God does-you matter to Him. When you feel neglected, ignored, or forgotten, God sees you. He knows who and what we are responsible for, and He has a purpose for you. Significant to God shares five familiar Bible stories, telling the truth with imagination. The tales describe events happening to children, though no names are mentioned. Each character is known by people around the world; through their words or deeds, they have made their mark for eternity. Their stories remind us that all of us matter to God-that He sees us when we feel isolated and is there when we feel left out and have no one. Life can be difficult, but remembering that God watches over us and cares about us no matter what can lift our spirits in the worst of times. This collection of stories presents a retelling of five familiar tales from the Bible without names, making it clear that God knows the longing of your heart and wants you to be happy.
My Defender Sets Me Free
My Defender Sets Me Free is an interactive teaching devotional written by a nine-year-old boy and his mother to help children develop a deeper relationship with the Lord. This book is intended for ages 9+ and discusses topics such as friendship, showing God's love, speaking words of life, forgiveness, depending on the Lord, taking thoughts captive, and telling the truth. Inside, there are thirty devotions that contain Biblical teaching, personal stories, and interactive exercises. At the end of each section, children will be asked to write, draw, pray, and step out in faith to impact the world for Jesus Christ. Each interactive devotion should take between fifteen to twenty minutes to complete and is intended to inspire readers to walk in freedom from the ways of the world through the power of the Holy Spirit. About the Authors Ever since Carter was a toddler, he has had a passion for knowing the Lord, hearing His voice, and preaching the Gospel. When Carter was four years old, he started having dreams with Jesus in them. Over the years, God has increasingly opened the eyes of Carter's heart to hear and see from a Heavenly perspective. Carter has been asked to preach on several occasions and enjoys praying for and talking with others about the importance of having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Lauren Trogdon is Carter's mother and has loved the Lord since she was a child. She is also an author who has written about intimacy with God and hearing from Him through dreams. She believes hearing the voice of the Holy Spirit is an essential part of Christianity for God's children of all ages. Carter and Lauren have a desire to see believers focus and apply the Word of God to their lives so the light of Christ within the Church continues to powerfully invade a world that is in desperate need of freedom. "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36, NIV).
The Archko Volume
The Archko Volume also known as the Archeological Writings of the Sanhedrim and Talmuds of the Jews, having come to light in the 19th century, is an ancient volume of eyewitness reports; which gathered by the Pharisees in their investigation of who Yahushua was during the 1st century when He lived, walked, ministered, and perform miracles among the residents of Jerusalem and surrounding Israel. This manuscript includes a wide variety of testimonies from Yahushua' contemporaries. It provides great insight into the eyewitness accounts of such individuals as Herod, Pontius Pilate, Nicodemus, Gamaliel, and even Joseph and Mary. It is one of the very few historical manuscripts which include a physical description of what Christ looked like in bodily characteristics. An incredibly insightful manuscript of supporting New Testament literature. It has been embroiled in ongoing debate as to whether the work is authentic in its elaboration and trustworthy in revelation. Whether one approaches this book with a scholarly or skeptical bias, it's perspective is both engrossing and worthy of consideration.

Towards Understanding Surah Baqarah
It was SerenestarShe was addressing everyone. She told that in the beginning there was just one ball in the universe. There was no son, no moon, no stars. This ball, because of the intense heat, grey larger and larger, until there was a big explosion with lots of smoke. And the solar system was formed from this occurence. Allah then created seven heavens one above the other. She then went on to talk about Sarah Baqarah. She tells them that the Surah contains many rules on a variety of topics guiding how to live on this earth. It explains why Allah created Jinns and mankind and what will happen when they die. She went on to say that Allah sent many prophets to deliver these messages and Surah Baqarah contains information about most of these prophets and the times they lived in. Serenestar then put a proposal out and asked if everyone would like their star to take them in time so they can receive these messages with the people of those times. Nani Serena and her grandchildren could not believe what they were hearing and shouted their agreement in chorus. Each gave an account of which time they would like to be transported to. Nani Serena wanted to be taken back in time to the Umah of the Holy Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) after his second Hijran to Medina.Layla chose to visit the time when Prophet Aadam (PBUH) was created in the lower heaven. Keyaan wanted to time travel in the era of Pharoh and Prophet Musa (PBUH). Jasmine wanted to find out why the surah was called Surah Baqarah (The Cow) and asked her star to take her to the period. Omari is going to live in the era of Prophet Dawood (PBUH) and Jalut.

I’m Not as Fast as a Cheetah
"I may not be the fastest, strongest, or smartest. But I can use what I have to do good. And that's good enough."It's not what you have but what you do with what you have that matters.Sometimes children can be anxious about the fact that they are not the fastest, strongest, or smartest. But the truth is only one person can ever be the fastest; the rest are not. Despite knowing that only one person can ever be the fastest, children can sometimes feel less worthy because that one person isn't them. This story teaches that being the best at something is not important if those talents are not used for good; and that people without such talents are still valuable because they still have the ability to be good. This is an expression of the Stoic concept that 'Virtue is the only good'

Just Think
Is the world we see around us really there? Is it ever right to do something wrong? Is beauty just a matter of opinion? Should everyone in society be paid the same amount? Are miracles possible? If you find questions like these fascinating, you are a philosopher. And if you are a philosopher, this book is for you. The book is aimed at intelligent children aged 9 to 14 and their parents or teachers. At the front are thirty philosophy puzzles, like the ones above, written for the young people themselves. These are followed by commentaries giving parents and teachers more background on each question. The book can be used by a young person on their own, or as a resource for adults leading discussions. The puzzles are divided into sections on six major areas of philosophy: epistemology, ethics, aesthetics, philosophy of science, social & political philosophy, and philosophy of religion. Each starts with a discussion between Philip and Phoebe, an argumentative brother and sister, followed by what one or more famous philosophers have said on the topic. Then there are three tricky questions, with which the reader can test family, friends, and teachers, and finally one or more websites for research. The adult commentaries on each puzzle are located in a separate section at the back of the book.Philip West taught students aged 8 to 18 for many years in a variety of schools. He has a degree in Natural Sciences, and a PhD in Philosophy and related subjects, both from Cambridge University. The puzzles originated in a popular Philosopher of the Week competition which he ran at Westminster Under School. They were subsequently published in a well-known children's magazine and trialed successfully by FUNdays Club in Wiltshire, UK.

She loves to smell, see, hear, taste and touch just about everything and would like to share with you a glimpse of why she does the things that she does. She knows that she is different from her friends and family, making it hard for her to be a part of our world. She sees things differently, listens differently and can behave differently, and when she wants to say something, she can sometimes get frustrated when words don't come out. It's not easy being Izzy, but with a little bit of understanding, a happy smile and a kind heart, maybe we can join in her adventures and be a part of her world.Izzy is Me is written for her K-6 friends and all those who live, work or play with someone that has autism or might know someone with autism. The hope is that we all learn to better love, understand and be kind to one another and share a little more Aloha around the world.
A Wish Come True
Our wishes can come to life if we trust God and pray. Thoughts and words are powerful. I used to be scared and never ready to have kids. I had all the negative thoughts of how my body would change after giving birth, so I tried my best not to get involved in any serious relationships, but I later had a change of mind when I thought was ready to start a family. I prayed that God would grant me a wish to have twins boys, and my wish came to pass. I am grateful to God.
