His
His: A Single Girl's Journey to Discovering God's Heart on Love, Marriage and Identity by Alysha Miller is an inspiring book which takes readers through the telling of the author's story, the vision behind her ministry The Marriage Project, and the understanding of who the Bridegroom is and what that means for eternity. This book is for the young woman who is bound by finding her worth in relationships. It is for the young woman who idolizes marriage, is obsessed with attaining the perfect relationship and whose identity has been misplaced. His affirms we are God's above all else. His reaches out to hold the hand of this young woman to show her where Real Love is found. His points to God's heart and definition of sex, marriage, covenant, love, and spousal roles. His emphasizes the blessing of singleness, purity and finding our identity as HIS. Alysha is a clear and effective communicator and draws readers to: - value the power of God's Word in their lives - to take an honest look at their own experiences and see where transformation needs to occur - understand relationships and marriage from a biblical worldview - discover who our hearts were created for and how to establish a relationship with Him Alysha Miller is the photographer and host of The Marriage Project and podcast. The vision for this project was conceived at a friend's baby shower, in the company of women whose stories and raw honesty about their marriages captured her attention. Located in Southern California, Alysha Miller is also the owner of Alysha Miller Photography, specializing in fine art wedding photography. She has interviewed and recorded with most couples face to face, traveling to where they are to keep in step with the heartbeat of the project - real connection, open communication, and a sense of community. When she's not traveling, she enjoys spending time with friends, family and her Yorkie, Lily. Connect with Alysha at: www.themarriageproject.co or www.alyshamiller.com

Think Again
Are there any things it is impossible to know? What is the point of punishing people? What was there before the Big Bang? Is a perfect forgery as good as an original painting? Are good intentions more important than being successful? If you find questions like these fascinating, you are a philosopher. And if you are a philosopher, this book is for you. Like its predecessor, Just Think, this book is aimed at intelligent children aged 9 to 14 and their parents and teachers. At the front are thirty more philosophy puzzles, like the ones above, written for the young people themselves. These are followed by commentaries giving parents and teachers more background on each question. The book can be used by a young person on their own, or as a resource for adults leading discussions. The puzzles are divided into sections on six major areas of philosophy: ethics, language & epistemology, social & political philosophy, philosophy of science, aesthetics, and logic. Each starts with a discussion between Philip and Phoebe, an argumentative brother and sister, followed by what some philosophers have said on the topic. Then there are three tricky questions, with which the reader can test family, friends, and teachers, and finally one or more websites for research. The adult commentaries on each puzzle are in a separate section at the back of the book.Philip West taught students aged 8 to 18 for many years in a variety of schools. He has a degree in Natural Sciences, and a PhD in Philosophy and related subjects, both from Cambridge University. The puzzles originated in a popular Philosopher of the Week competition which he ran at Westminster Under School.
Living Life with Blinders On
People in general seem to not focus on the most important thing in life. we have a tendency to not care about life after death even though we have been urged to seek first the kingdom of God and his Righteousness. I remember as a fourth grader to find the reason for my existence . I could not accept the fact that I had been created and allowed to live and then exist anymore. My second desire was to become a Dentist so I could help people . I accomplished both. I learned how to receive eternal life and how to share this very important information to others while giving God the Gory for all he has done.

As part of the era's counter-culture, it demanded that a new type of school be created, one that freed the minds of students instead of shackling them to the status quo. It was part of the movement to create an America dedicated to freedom, justice, and equality for all.

The God Log by Ellie Kay and Nathaniel Cole
The God Log by Ellie Kay and Nathaniel Cole. Cousins Sarah and Thomas discover Ellie Kay's, personal diary called The God Log while in the attic going through boxes to decorate for Christmas. The book was given to her by her Grandmother, Grandma Paulette. Thomas finds out that his father Nathaniel Cole also has a God Log Book. Both Sarah and Thomas are fascinated in learning what their parents were like as children. Discovering how they dealt with problems and then solving the issues like bullying, lying, and stealing. As Ellie and Nate write to God, they examine the problem and determine what the correct solution should be based on Sunday School teachings, the insightful talks from their Grandmother and how God would want you to solve the issue. Ellie and Nate also write to God to elaborate the great adventures they experienced with their grandmother and reflect on the wonderful opportunities and thank God for life's blessings. Amazing Rhyme, Vinny McVee, The Bully And Me
"Amazing Rhyme, Vinny McVee, The Bully And Me," is the third book of the new "Amazing Rhyme: A Read and Rhyme Book" series. All the books in this new series are written as story rhymes and based on lessons about developing good character. The first book,"Amazing Rhyme, Know-It-All Nora," focuses on the skills of listening and responsibility. The second book, "Amazing Rhyme: The Curl," focuses on self-esteem. This book, "Amazing Rhyme, Vinny McVee, The Bully And Me," is about bullying. Bullying has been identified as a serious and complex worldwide problem, as well as its associated short, and long term negative effects on the well being of both the victim and the bully. I wrote this story to give parents and teachers key talking points that can help children understand the issues around bullying. Developing this early ongoing dialogue with children will help them to develop a better insight into self, which in turn will help them avoid becoming a victim or a bully. Presenting this story in rhyme lets your child experience the rhythm of language. It promotes reading and speaking with expression and animated voices, as it provides a sense of security and confidence through its rhythm and predictability. The bright colorful images combined with the rhyming text are a winning combination that will capture and hold your child's interest. Overall, "Amazing Rhyme, Vinny McVee, The Bully And Me," of the "Read And Rhyme Book" series will provide a positive environment that promotes discussion about bullying, and building positive character traits. The Parent Pages, included in this book, contain additional resources and activities that will help to enrich your child's rhyming skills. So sit back and relax while you enjoy this creative learning experience with your child.
