Seriously Sick Bible Stuff
Written in the humorous, gross style of the 2:52 line, designed to ignite the interest of boys.Bible Freaks & Geeks--This book helps boys to grow smarter, stronger, deeper, and cooler by showing them how hurtful name-calling can be. In a fun, engaging format, the book highlights biblical examples of machos, jocks, goons, wonks, slackers, airheads, and more. Through the biblical examples of characters who some would likely classify in these terms today, we learn what kind of people God has used throughout history to accomplish his plans. In Bible Freaks & Geeks we also discover that not only are people wrongfullylabeled today by such general and unkind terms, but that even in ancient times, humans exhibited the same traits that we see today. Readers will learnmore about the characters in the Bible, and also how to discern between descriptive labels and harmful stereotypes.Seriously Sick Bible Stuff--This book gives boys the lowdown on what living in ancient Israel was really like. In fun and engaging 2:52 style, it offers humorous, gross facts about day-to-day life in Bible times, shattering any illusions boys may have about how much easier things would have been if they had lived during Jesus' day. This book exposes boys to the truth: sleeping next to goats (and cleaning up after them in the morning!), eating food that was spiced because it was spoiled, drinking water that was probably unsafe, and using bathroom accommodations that made outhouseslook good. Not to mention the tough, boring work kids had to do! Seriously Sick Bible Stuff helps boys understand the people of Jesus' time--making them grateful for the life God has given them today. Jesus + Santa = Christmas!
Two different sides of Christmas meet Person-to-Person as Santa and Jesus talk back and forth to discover they both love children, give presents, and utilize teams of helpers. This book weaves faith and tradition in a fun, colorful heart-to-heart talk over hot chocolate with cameo appearances of Rudolph. It's fun for all ages and stages of life. Rev. Heidi Erion Revelo grew up in Nebraska, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in communications from University of Nebraska at Kearney and went on to earn a Master's of Divinity from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary in Illinois. She was ordained in the American Baptist Churches and served United Methodist churches for six years. Her first book, "Chop! Chop! Chaplain" describes ministry in a beef processing plant where she worked as a chaplain for 8 years. The mix of cultures, religions, and people swirl into unconventional and unexpected stories of real people. She authored "Red Sky" a sci-fi Christian novel about the hot-button topic of abortion. A team of stem cell researchers, blood falling from the sky, the corporate bottom line, strides in medicine, Lincoln and Cici's forever love, politics, and heart-rending decisions leave the reader's heart grappling. Then add a few facts scattered like sprinkles over a cupcake, but not as appetizing, and it's a one-of-a-kind story. She and husband of 29 years have two adult daughters: a baker and a teacher. Don't forget their three rescue fur babies: Aussie/Corgi dog Thomas, calico cat Emmy and tiger cat Maximus.

Little Angels in Pink and Friends
Introduction Little Angel in Pink and Friends is a story that I have written in memory of my daughter Laurie Jean. She went to heaven to be with JESUS when she was an infant from a serious heart defect. Making the story a fun place for little angels like Laurie Jean helped me to be able to think of her without hurting inside. I will always keep her in my heart, but knowing she is with JESUS and the precious Angels makes me feel at peace inside. Laurie Jean's age in the book is five years old, the reason for that at the age of five, I was placed in a children's home. This story has also helped me cope with that part of my life. I pray that this precious book will help children with serous illnesses, see that heaven is a beautiful place. And that JESUS is there to Love and care for them. Laurie Jeans, friend Timmy was a young boy that had cancer. Logan was Laurie Jean's cousin that went to heaven as an infant. Quack-Quack was a little baby duck that had drown in a family pool. They all had families here on earth. This book is in memory of them also. God is so precious to all children and their families. My heart goes out to all parents. It's not easy these days. Raising children, it's much harder when you have a child that has an illness. God bless!
