Planting Seeds for Jesus
It was my hope when writing this book to also plant seeds of faith in our children's hearts. I have nineteen grandkids, and I pray every day that they will find the Lord at a young age, as the world is trying so hard to pull them away. I wanted to write a book that would remind them that Jesus tells them to come to him. If God knows those who are his before they are born, it makes sense that the sooner our children learn about Jesus, the better. Planting Seeds for Jesus is about a little girl's love for Jesus and how excited she gets when Jesus uses her to share her faith with her friends. In this story, God is using her love for gardening to teach her lessons about him, as she will have to trust him for rain and thank him when he sends it. This is a book about not just how God made the world but how God can talk with her as she reads her Bible and learns to walk with him. It will not only touch our children's hearts but also touch our hearts as we remember God loves it when we come to him like children. You could find yourself reading Planting Seeds for Jesus to remember how God wants us to love him with a childlike faith.

Dear Lord, You Are Enough for Me
This book takes the reader through the different stages of one's life. In the end, she realizes that God has been there all of the time.Educators can use this book to teach about the stages of life, emotions, relationships, etc. Both young and old will enjoy the Biblical concepts such as the following: Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee. (Jeremiah 1:5, KJV)Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matthew 28:20, KJV)If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. (Psalm 139, KJV)For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. (Jeremiah 29:11, KJV)May you enjoy reading and sharing this with your loved ones, friends, and students. May it bring you comfort, joy, and peace throughout your entire life.God bless you. And please, keep educators in your prayers. It is a very demanding, self-sacrificing, and nonfamily-oriented profession. The Tree
Pride was the first sin. It occurred when Satan said "I will ascend to the heavens.....I will make myself like the most high God." Pride can keep us from discovering God's purpose for us. In The Tree one tree, so proud and admired by other trees in the forest, finds itself cut down, carted off and stripped of its branches. It's only then that it is reborn and discovers its purpose--to hold in its arms God's most prized possession.
The Nail
We all have dreams for our lives, our futures; however, our plans may not be God's plan for us. Sometimes God must refine us by fire in order to mold us into people He can use for His purpose. What if a simple lump of iron, which could be molded into something regal, honored and admired such as a sword or a medal, is instead molded into an ordinary item--a nail. Nails are used for repairing, building and everyday unremarkable activities; however, what if one nail finds its purpose unexpectedly in a very unusual place? What if it finds itself as part of the most important event in history?

One day, Peace comes across a Bible scripture that begins to speak to her spirit and resonate in her soul. As in most good scriptures, it provides her with just what she needs to hear at that moment.Peace obeys the scripture and allows the words to do the work. She accompanies Nelly to school one day and becomes the target of two bullies. Only the bullies have no idea what secrets Peace hides or with God what she is capable of. If they only knew, they would have quickly chosen another victim. This is a fun little story and not at all preachy. In fact, prepare yourself for a rather fun learning experience as you travel on another "Pugusaur adventure."

Joey’s Free Fall

Princess Makayla
This book is based on a true story. In 2009 my brother and his wife were expecting their third child. They expected a perfect and healthy baby girl as the sonograms and tests did not indicate otherwise. However, that was not the case. My niece, Makayla, was born with terminal health issues and the prognosis was very poor. In other words the doctors stated she would not survive. This news was devastating for my brother and his wife, as well as the entire family. We knew our only hope was to pray and trust God. This journey has not been easy for them. Makayla is now 11 years old and God has performed one miracle after another in her life. She is able to hold a conversation, maneuvers her wheelchair with ease, and uses her IPad like a pro. She is God's masterpiece and He will always keep her in the palms of His hands. Prayer is a conversation with God. You can talk with Him about your uncertainties, your difficulties, and your joys. In other words you can talk with Him about anything and everything! He is waiting and wants to hear from you. My prayer is that as you read this book, prayer becomes the one thing you cannot live without. A breath of hope in times of trouble, ray of sunshine when life is hazy, and an expression of gratitude when life is good. Yudelka Lugo, or "Judy" as she prefers to be called is a wife and a mother, who led the Girls Ministry for over 10 years and enjoys teaching the word of God. She has a Master's degree in Human Services Counseling, is a Social Worker by profession, and finds helping others very rewarding. The experiences in her own life as well as those of her family are a testament of the power of prayer. She believes God is always listening and miracles happen every day. We just have to be willing to recognize them.

Shadow and Friends Meet Mr. Rabbit
This enchanting fairy tale, Shadow and Friends Meet Mr. Rabbit, brings forth children's vivid imaginations as they read about the adventures of Shadow and her friends meeting Mr. Rabbit and his family. Children learn how squirrels and rabbits react and play together in real life, and in fairy tale life in a game of Hopscotch. Mr. and Mrs. Rabbit speak, and Baby Rabbit has a pacifier in his mouth that children will laugh and find enchanting. The rabbits are "wacky" rabbits as they are not the typical looking bunny rabbits, since they are dressed and have fun expressions on their faces. More fun ensues as they decorate eggs for Easter and two baby chicks stop by to say hello. As this children's picture book is Christian themed, children learn about Jesus and how Easter came about in real life, near the end of the story, and in a manner that young children will understand. A young child knows about death from an early age and reading to or with them about the greatest story ever told is loving and heartwarming. Children learn that we will see our loved ones again, and Easter means that there is life after we die, and that death is not scary at all.
