The innovative and competitive strategies are made to integrate their role and responsibilities with the organizational goal. Therefore, the focus of every organization is to use the capabilities, knowledge and capacity of employees through deploying different strategies taking in view the organizational vision, mission, goals and needs of the employees to making them satisfied, motivated and engaged in their work. Many companies especially services selling realized that the expenditure on their employees is more than a cost. Employees in service sectors are the representative of the business and organization as they interact with customers directly at every level and create the lasting impressions. This book is based on a study that focuses on the evaluation of comparative employee engagement in the banking institutions in the selected public and private sector banks in Punjab in India. As the role of banks in promoting the economic and social welfare for the betterment and advancement of the life of the community is well recognized. This study will help to examine the employee engagement and its related variables in banking sector.
