內容簡介
本書由吳英璋口述，姜忠信、蕭仁釗、林耀盛、陳秀蓉、鄭逸如、柯書林、簡良霖等人執筆撰寫，記錄台灣第一代臨床心理學家吳英璋的發展軌跡。內容涵括其投身精神科系統的部分，關於自殺防治、青少年輔導工作與後來在台北市教育局工作的紀錄，九二一震災後的心理復健工作，以及將臨床心理學從精神科走向更大的醫療領域，亦即健康心理學的發展過程。
本書非一般的編年傳記，而是生命經驗的鍛造過程，以吳英璋在重要領域的開創深耕敘事為橫斷面，交叉刻描出其成為一位台灣重要臨床心理學家的學思踐行紀錄。

My Way
And now, the end is near;
And so I face the final curtain.
My friend, I'll make it clear,
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain.
I've lived a life that's full.
I've traveled each and every highway;
And more, much more I did,
I did it my way.
Regrets, I've had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.
I planned each charted course;
Each careful step along the by way,
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.
Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew.
But through it all, when there was doubt,
I ate it up and spit it out.
I faced it all and I stood tall;
And did it my way.
I’ve loved, I’ve laughed and cried.
I’ve had my fill; my share of losing.
And now, as tears subside,
I find it all so amusing.
To think I did all that;
And may I say - not in a shy way,
No, oh no not me,
I did it my way.
For what is a man, what has he got?
If not himself, then he has naught.
To say the things he truly feels;
And not the words of one who kneels.
The record shows I took the blows -
And did it my way!
Yes, it was my way.
