The Hardest Part of the Wait is the Weight
Many women are searching for love and are often forced to settle on their quest to find it. I close my eyes and let a solitary tear slip down my cheek, leaving a trail of memories and broken promises in its wake.Lying broken in a fetal position with one eye still closed, my thoughts turn to my mother.Strangely, I wonder what she might be doing. I think about what she would do if she knew what was happening to her daughter right this moment. Would she pick me up and hold me and pacify me like she did when I was little? Would she be disappointed that I didn't recognize the warning signs and ask for help?Deep down in my heart I know that she would gently stroke my hair and smile sweetly at me and tell me it was going to be ok - I was going to be ok. With that thought in my mind, a smile flickers across my face and I feel momentarily at peace.This mirage of safety is ripped apart when I feel the sharp metal spurs of his boots penetrate the skin on my back.And I scream. A deep primal continuous scream as he kicks me over and over again - without mercy and without remorse.What have I done to deserve this? How am I going to escape the pure rage and hatred of this man?My final thought before losing consciousness is the panicked realization that this is the night I am going to die. He is finally going to kill me...and it will be a long, slow, lonely and very painful death.

Remarriage & Adultery
Men and women are not to separate or put away their spouse (Matthew 19:6; 1 Corinthians 7:10-11). Moses gave man permission to initiate a divorce (Deuteronomy 24:1; Matthew 19:9) but because the hardness of their heart. We are only to divorce women who committed sexual immorality and refuse to return back home (Jeremiah 3:8-9). Women were never given permission to put away her husband, and if she does separate (1 Corinthians 7:11) she is to remain unmarried or reconcile back to her husband. The brother or sister is allowed to divorce if the unbelieving spouse initiates the separation and wants the divorce (1 Corinthians 7:15). God has called us to live in peace. If the believer wants to remarry, the woman must wait till her husband dies (sleeps) (1 Corinthians 7:39-40) if she was not put away for sexual immorality by the husband, and the man must use the Law of Moses to know when he is loosed from the wife of his covenant (1 Corinthians 7:27-28).
