How God Will Restore Your Marriage
Is everyone telling you that your marriage is hopeless? It's not! God is more than able to restore any marriage, especially YOURS! Why should YOU be another divorce statistic when God's Word holds both the Power and the Truth to change YOUR seemingly hopeless situation?"I want to praise God! I began reading the book on Wed. I started repenting for my sin and after just 2 days my wife called me! She hasn't been able to talk to me for more than 6 months! This is really a breakthrough and has encouraged me to continue to follow the principles in the book. God is changing me and I now see all the horrible mistakes I made to bring this divorce about. I am now sure God can and wants to restore any marriage because my situation seemed hopeless. Don't give up!" Kevin in Colorado, divorced"These books have kept me going the last 6 months. I just got a call from my wife and she told me that God has told her that she and I will be back together again!! She said she is not ready yet, but she knows that it will happen- Praise God!!" Larry in Illinois, separated"I cannot tell you enough how much I wish I had this book before following and confronting my wife with the other man. The horrifying consequences from not following the principles of Scripture the book outlines has been unreal. Then I finally found out about your ministry and found hope in a sea of despair. I have read and re-read the book, studying verse after verse in the Bible, and then some. I am just now finding peace in the storm after almost five months of struggles. GOD BLESS you for having the courage to stand and fight for your marriage and for sharing God's wisdom with me! AWESOME!" Eric* in Alaska

Mothercare
"Masterfully-wrought . . . [A] stunning story of caregiving, with its questions of obligation and ethics and what it means to care for someone who, perhaps, didn't care for you." --The Boston Globe From the brilliantly original novelist and cultural critic Lynne Tillman comes MOTHERCARE, an honest and beautifully written account of a sudden, drastically changed relationship to one's mother, and of the time and labor spent navigating the American healthcare system. When a mother's unusual health condition, normal pressure hydrocephalus, renders her entirely dependent on you, your sisters, caregivers, and companions, the unthinkable becomes daily life. In MOTHERCARE, Tillman describes doing what seems impossible: handling her mother as if she were a child and coping with a longtime ambivalence toward her. In Tillman's celebrated style and as a "rich noticer of strange things" (Colm T籀ib穩n), she describes, without flinching, the unexpected, heartbreaking, and anxious eleven years of caring for a sick parent. MOTHERCARE is both a cautionary tale and sympathetic guidance for anyone who suddenly becomes a caregiver. This story may be helpful, informative, consoling, or upsetting, but it never fails to underscore how impossible it is to get the job done completely right.

The physical loss of my love, hero, and best friend was devastating, but the fear of a future without him is terrifying. All our hopes, dreams, and plans are gone.As a married couple, we were a team. He had my back, and I had his. Now there is a huge void, and all the uncomforting platitudes voiced by relatives and friends cannot convince me that "everything is going to be all right." With the peace and comfort that comes from my heavenly Father, I may survive; but after being married for decades, it is foolish to expect a new widow to "just move on." It takes someone who has walked in these shoes to understand the dark place that is currently mine as well as so many other widows and widowers.

Spotting, Coping, Escaping and Recovering from Narcissists
AVOID BEING INFLUENCED BY THE BAD REVIEW; MAKE UP YOUR OWN MIND.Based on years of help given by a therapist, This a purposefully short book that contains powerful messages. It is like having a good and genuine friend by your side.Written by a therapist with many, many years of practical experience in the resolution of problems such as these; what this book does is to turn sufferers into survivors and then those survivors into happy and fulfilled regular people. It shows how that wonderful, but fake, love affair is all about the narcissist and not you. They can only love themselves. That is narcissism and it is a personality disorder.Rather than being full of case studies about other people, the book helps you to identify narcs, deal with their methods, get away from them and then live a normal life.AND if you are influenced by reviews before making your decision about the suitability of this book, please remember that victims wish to keep their identities secret and narcissists will want to put you off reading about their tricks and how they hurt others.

Can't Be Broken
The author has met many monsters in her life. Some monsters she was able to escape from without looking back, and some still haunt her dreams today, even knowing that they can never hurt her, her family, or those she cares about ever again. Like many who have dealt with real-life monsters, she has found herself suspicious of everyone who enters her life. She is very cautious about who she lets in, and the moment she finds the slightest sign of something being off, she detaches herself from others and never looks back. When she second-guessed her choices at one point in life, she quickly realized that her first instincts were spot on and learned to move on instead of second-guessing things again. Katie Sexton's biography tells a powerful true story of survival and resilience. As she shares her nightmares, she finds that she is stronger than many expected. In the end, she can't be broken.

Get the Girl
"The 'manosphere' online is filled with a certain kind of red-pilled bitterness which, when it is coupled with evolutionary and materialistic assumptions, produces an odd mix of appalling selfishness and cynicism (and reductionism with regard to sex) coupled with common grace insights that you would never hear from an evangelical beta-preacher." from the bookDouglas Wilson writes to a young man on how he should pursue a woman. Feminism has catechized us in many lies about what makes the sexes attracted to each other, and evangelical pastors have often only reinforced those lies with platitudes about servant-leadership (heavy on the servant, light on the leadership). When they find out that being a doormat doesn't attract anyone, young men often rebound to the secular manosphere. Douglas Wilson offers his own commonsense advice, sharp-edged and thoroughly biblical, not just on how to be the kind of man who attracts the right woman, but how to be the kind of man that keeps her.Douglas Wilson is the pastor of Christ Church in Moscow, Idaho, a father of three, and grandfather of seventeen. He is the author of over a hundred books including Reforming Marriage, Why Children Matter, and How to Exasperate Your Wife.
Behind The Scene
Behind the Scene is a personal story of one little girl's experience growing up on a small Midwest farm. She was born into a large family, living in poverty, where her family's mode of transportation was a horse and buggy. This was required by the Amish religion her family belonged to. Early in her life, her dad wanted a car. They left the Amish and joined the Mennonites. The deep, dark secrets of her family's dysfunction, she vowed never to expose to anyone. However, that decision got her in difficult situations as an adult. Much of her under-the-surface unhappiness was due to the decision to never talk or tell of the abuse. When she decided to heal from the wounds, she discovered this dilemma was a generational problem and much more prevalent than she imagined. It is her hope that through her journey to heal, it will also give others the courage to heal. It is for those who may find themselves in this situation.
No Worries in Heaven
No Worries in Heaven is a source of comfort for a husband who has suddenly lost his mate. Though death is a subject that is difficult to approach and prepare for, everyone must face this someday. Doug describes the joy of falling in love with Vivian, asking her to marry him, and serving the Lord together throughout their 50-year relationship. In all relationships there are rough areas that need sanding, and though their marriage was good, they wanted to understand more about each other. Vivian had discovered that she had breast cancer, and it was of a type that was difficult to treat. After chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation, she thought the battle was won. But tests showed that the cancer cells were still present, and they migrated to her lungs and liver. She worked as a massage therapist and had done three massages the day before she went to the hospital with breathing problems. She passed away ten days later. Doug talks about the shock of losing her so suddenly and the flurry of decisions he needed to make over the course of the next few months. But comfort came with a picture in his mind of Vivian with Jesus and the mansion in the background. She was working on His stripes, using her alabaster box of costly oil. Doug also has prepared a practical list of decisions a bereaved husband must make after the death of his wife, and how he must maintain composure throughout the process of grieving, sorting through stuff and taking care of financial and legal issues.

One Eye Open and One Eye Closed
This book is about a preacher's wife who lived in silent depression and learned survival skills by being emotionally isolated while sitting in church. She accepted Jesus as her personal Savior at the age of eighteen, and was called to ministry shortly thereafter in 1969.She received a prophetic word from her spiritual mom, who had a dream she had one eye open and one eye closed. She was married at the age of twenty-four to a preacher who she thought was her prince charming. You are about to experience her real-life story as a preacher's wife. This is when she experienced the worst battles of her spiritual sanity. The book will inspire every unmarried person, divorcee, married couple, and parent not to give up on their loved ones, and will encourage widows to live after the death of a spouse. Why Don't They Cry?
Zander Sprague was devasted when his sister Lucy was murdered. But he did not want to further burden his parents in their time of profound grief. Many families are at a loss at how to connect when they need each other most. Later, many parents asked Zander, "Why don't they cry?" which prompted this book for parents and sibling survivors. This book will guide you through the troubling waters when you are facing your own grief and the grief of your loved ones. "The loss of a child is traumatic for parents and siblings, oftentimes causing breakdowns in communication and distance between family members. Zander uses his personal experience and passion for the care of sibling survivors to provide meaningful insight for parents who are seeking to reconnect with their surviving children." Tracing My Maternal Ancestral Roots from the Illegitimate to the Legitimate
Unsure of who you are and what stock you came from maternally? Too scared of what you might discover if you dive into the dark secret world of ancestry tracing? Well, I took the plunge using the Mormon's FamilySearch.org to dig up untold of birth, marriage, travel, and death records and DNA testing to solve the mysteries of my bloodline. I did - spit, spat, and swabbed - three times using genealogy websites: 23andMe to search for my paternal lineage, Ancestry to treasure-hunt for my maternal legacy, and MyHeritage to seek out my foreign biological birthright. Learn vicariously, through me and my DNA detective-sleuthing work, what was revealed and what wasn't. I have now written 20 books on various genres: arts, music, biographies, academics, poetry, and short stories - but this one's different - I was soccer-punched, kicked to the curb, and almost died as I interacted with living things in the biosphere, as I toiled the mountains and the lowlands of the lithosphere, the murky twist and turns via the deep-blue Caribbean sea and the vast Atlantic and Pacific oceans of the hydrosphere, flew into and almost disappeared into the thin air of the atmosphere as I travailed the Geographic Sphere! Find out if I am among the illegitimate or legitimate contenders. Yes, there is dissension - see how the ensuing battle royal unfold right in front of your own eyes. Who married, then separated, deserted, divorced, or disappeared from whom? What entanglements and traps did the spider weave and who was caught in its web? Where in the world did the ancestors run and hide out the storm that brewed? When did they arrive from or migrated to Africa, Jamaica, Cuba, Suriname or wherever around the globe? What were my maternal ancestors' ethnicities? Black, White, Mulatto or Sambo? Follow me as I rummage through old photographs and other relics. How did my ancestors and their descendants live and how did they die? What languages did they speak? Why was there child abandonment, missing children, orphans in Alpha foster care, not one but two suicides, and sibling rivalry and ID theft? Which generation won and which lost? Did my brick wall crumble and fall or is it still standing erect? Were the results of my quest and what I unearthed as maternally fruitful on my family tree? Read inside the pages of all three volumes and their companions to discover more about the riveting escapades of my tryst and its its up's and down's, in's and out's, and facts and legends...genealogically.
Appendices
Why go halfway through my ancestral journey? Now that your appetite is whetted with the enthralling reveals on my paternal ancestors in the main text, complete the journey with the missing documentary proof on my paternal family. You will be delighted to read the intimate pages of my father's letters to me discussing his daily life, spilling family trivia, and detailing life in Jamaica for him during those times - no holds barred. You can also walk through with me, in living color (black and white), what my retirement home will look like with the birds flying up yonder to welcome me home atop the mountain range, and the imaginary grassy knoll trying to turn green as shown on the front elevation plan. You can also catch me waving on the balcony/gallery or sunbathing on back porch of the first-floor plan with its spacious three bedrooms. The ground floor plan shows off the the two-bedroom guest flat and breakfast area with me cooking ackee and saltfish to kick start the day and the basement plan displays my double-car carport, the two-room helper's quarters, my store and laundry rooms, and the stairs. Aspiring architects will find accreditation standards to follow for a career in the field. Don't miss out on the ancestral tracing tips and guidelines I provided to help you navigate your own journey in the form of a relationship chart, the code map for each parish in Jamaica, and a historical map of Jamaica. You will also be able to traverse my grandmother's townships of Marlie Hill and Macca Tree in St. Catherine and the Kingston streets and lanes where I lived in my formative years. The Jamaica Civil Registration coverage area along with surname and other supporting maps for the 1881 origins of the Graham/Allwood and Harrison last names complete the navigational tracks and pointers. Surely, you will want to meet my paternal family's acquaintance or reacquaint with them vicariously through photographs and artifacts such as family members' careers (in brief), immigration and travel records, obituaries, and legal documents summarizing their past lives. Don't miss out on the illuminating and telltale correspondence thrown in for good measure. For the future, a TOG - Table of Generations was started as breadcrumbs specifically for the next generation of paternal descendants among many, many more family treasures and ancestral findings. Closure comes in the form of a poem on family heritage titled: Thick Blood or Thin Water Family?
Dung Bag Road
In their book, "What Happened to You?" Conversations on Trauma, Resilience, and Healing, Dr. Perry and Oprah Winfrey raised the question of 'What Happened to You?' instead of 'What is Wrong with You?' This allowed the author, SaBrina Beck to unblock her mind and open her heart to revisit the emotional drawings made while participating in a cognitive behavioral therapy program back in 2008. It would take 13 years to document her traumatic experiences that up until that time shaped her mental health and wellbeing. In Dung Bag Road, A Personal Account of Depression and Recovery Beck digs deep to answer that question for herself as she describes what happened to her beginning with her early memories at 8 years old visiting her mother in the hospital, as a teen being awakened by the shouting and fighting between her sister and mother, how she felt when her sister became pregnant as a teen, the time she took too many pills, the experiences of being a runaway, an absent and creepy father, a much too friendly neighbor, divorce with no kids, stuck in the Midwest after divorce with kids, to a remarriage with another attempt at divorce. It was an agonizing journey to put her emotional perspective into words sometimes experiencing the memories in a physically, gut-wrenching process, while managing them in a lighter, clearer headspace. The events in her life created experiences that remained unresolved would be a back seat driver that affected her mental health, her psyche, and her ability to live an unburdened healthy and happy life. She did the work in the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy program and follow-up counseling that would lead her back to her family and introduce her to life without the weight of self-prosecution, shame, and guilt. By travelling alongside her personal accounts, she hopes each chapter can open the door to discussions with your self-talk, your friends and family, and in groups and organizations that support and promote foundations for better mental health for women, men, and children, all in the hopes of normalizing therapy. She challenges you to bust the myth that if something is not documented, it did not happen. You are the documentation. You are the evidence. Your story is your foundation whether it is told immediately or when you are healed. The important thing is that we survive and are alive and well.
