Heaven Has a Wall
An urgent exploration of borders as sacred objects in American culture. Our national conversation about the border has taken a religious turn. When televangelists declare, "Heaven has a wall," activists shout back, "Jesus was a refugee." For Elizabeth Shakman Hurd, the standoff makes explicit a longstanding truth: borders are religious as well as political objects. In this book, Hurd argues that Americans share a bipartisan border religion, complete with an array of beliefs and practices, including a reverence for national security, a liturgy for immigration, and an eschatological foreign policy. Through an analysis of the many ways the United States creates, enforces, and ignores borders at home and abroad, Hurd offers a bold new perspective on the ties that bind American religion, politics, and public life.

Al-Rashidun
The legacy of the greatest teacher the world has known, the greatest man to ever walk the Earth, the Messenger of Allah, is attested to by the greatness of his students: the Ṣaḥābah. None more so than his four successors, the four men famed as the Rightly Guided Caliphs. The Blessed Prophet's words and deeds have reached us from across the centuries and still inspire billions. It was these men who were charged with carrying those teachings to others, and within one short century spread them across the breadth of the world. This book collects the teachings of these great men; their words and their actions; how they lived and how they died. Each of them was a giant upon whose shoulders the great scholars and sages; the orators and leaders; the warriors and heroes; the ascetics and mystics in every age of this Ummah have built their places in the halls of history. Each of them was shaped for greatness by the blessed hands of the Beloved in a singular and unique manner. Together, they built a community, an empire, and a legacy that shall inspire this Ummah until the end of time.

The Messenger
This book narrates the life of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, shedding light upon segments of his life that are either neglected or glossed over in conflict-focused biographies. The narrations in this book revolve around the Prophet's various strategies of diplomacy and reconciliation to avoid conflicts. In narrating these events, the book helps the readers broaden their perspective on the life of the Messenger of God and better capture the ethos of his life. Indeed, both Muslims and non-Muslims may benefit from this understanding at a time when violent extremist groups such as ISIS are causing carnage with their brutality while dressing their totalitarian ideologies in Muslim garb. The book exposes the hypocritical and willful deception of these radical groups which cherry-pick incidents and sayings from the Prophet's life, decontextualize them, and abuse them to serve their perverted ideologies. The extensive evidence presented in this book will not only dispel many myths about the life and message of the Noble Prophet, but also show how through compassionate efforts he conquered the hearts of people around him and turned them from die-hard enemies to devoted faithful friends.
Śri Śaṅkarāchārya's Ātma-Bodha
The Ātma Bodha, as its name suggests, presents a straightforward approach to self-realization. The book's authorship is attributed to Ādi Śaṅkarāchārya. However, a comparison of the Sanskrit of Prasthāna Trayī with the Ātma Bodha reveals no evidence that this concise treatise was also authored by Ādi Śaṅkarāchārya. It must have been written by some later Śaṅkarāchārya. The book comprises 68 verses that address the identities of individuals who can attain self-realization. Overall, the book is quite engaging and elucidates numerous concepts of Vedantic philosophy in accessible terms.
