Cambeth
Cambeth is composed in the genre of Philadelphia neighborhood aka "Yo Philly" street language. The script is enjoined with the literary flavor and quaint structure of early modern English language. The Cambeth writing style, includes idioms slang and cultural expressions from the 1960's up to and including the 21st century i.e., the third millennium. These writings are combined with the American aughts* in conjunction with the British noughts* of the 1600's. The script is intertwined with so-called Shakespeare colloquialism and the artistic explosion and appreciation in poetry, literature, and theatre of the Elizabethan era. My approach and interpretation to Macbeth via Cambeth, gives it a literary uniqueness that I believe suites a delicious flavor of spelling baseball into classic Shakespeare.

Political Conversations in Late Republican Rome
Political Conversations in Ciceronian Rome offers for the first time a perspective of Roman politics through the proxy of conversations and meetings. In Rome oral was the default mode of communication in politics: oratory before the people in assemblies, addresses and discussions in the Senate, speeches in the law courts, rumours, and public opinion. We are familiar with the notion that the Roman political world of the Late Republic included lofty speeches and sessions of the Senate, but an important aspect of Late-Republican politics revolved around senators talking among themselves, chatting off in the corner. Only when they could not reach each other in person, Roman senators and their peers resorted to letters. This book intends to analyse political conversations and illuminate the oral dimension of Roman politics. It posits that the study of politics should not be restricted to the senatorial group, but that other persons should be considered as important political actors with their own agency (albeit in different degrees), such as freedmen and elite women. It argues that Roman senators and their entourages met in person to have conversations in which they discussed politics, circulated political information and negotiated strategies; this extra-institutional sphere had a relevant impact both on politics and institutions as well as determined how the Roman Republic functioned.
Consentius’ de Barbarismis Et Metaplasmis
Consentius probably lived in Gaul in the fifth century. His Ars de barbarismis et metaplasmis is the most extensive ancient treatise on deviations from 'standard' Latin, both errors (barbarisms) and poetic licenses (metaplasms). This volume provides the first English translation in a new critical edition, which benefits from new evidence on its textual transmission. Error and poetic license were long-standing topics of Greek and Roman reflections on language, and by late antiquity were rigidly codified in Roman grammar. Consentius' discussion of poetic license is fairly traditional, though he adds an original appendix on licence that are involved in verse scansion. His discussion of error is more original, as he criticised mainstream grammarians who took their examples of error from poetry, and instead took examples of errors from spoken language. By doing so, Consentius provides us with an unparalleled insight into spoken Latin: his list of errors has been analysed over the years by students of non-standard and regional Latin as well as the Romance languages, and his comments on vowel quantity and quality, the accent, and the sound of certain consonants are still the subject of much scholarly debate. Mari's commentary explains the textual choices made in the edition and the linguistic and interpretive difficulties of the text, reconstructs the place of Consentius' doctrine within the ancient grammatical tradition, and illustrates the linguistic information provided by Consentius from the point of view of historical linguistics.

By his contemporaries, Raoul de Houdenc was 'mentioned in the same breath as Chr矇tien de Troyes as one of the masters of French poetry' (Keith Busby, The New Arthurian Encyclopaedia). And with his hugely influential satire The Dream of Hell he was the very first to compose allegory in the vernacular, mastering to perfection the art of parody and the unexpected. After a long period of neglect Raoul is finally receiving the scholarly attention he deserves, and this is the first translation into English of his complete surviving works.
