Asherex of Adreia
Born and raised on a manmade continent orbiting Earth where history was changed and religion eradicated, Asherex is caught in a battle that reaches beyond the age-old Adreian-Brashex war for control of the Surface. Ambushed by his terrorist father-in-law and near death, he lands in a town filled with believers in Yeshua where he hears about God for the first time. Torn between returning home and needing to know if their religion is true, Asherex is infected with Zeron's, a deadly, incurable disease that kills within two months. Quarantined to the Surface, Asherex relies on hotheaded Roark to solve the mystery behind his infection. Unable to investigate, Asherex turns his attention to his hosts' religion, hoping it holds the answer to the question that's plagued him his whole life: Is there something more to this life? Roark, promoted to Crimson Soldier, is thrown into a conspiracy to overthrow the government by eliminating his high commander and killing the commander and chief while trying to keep his best friend alive. After years of watching Emet abused by his cruel master, and still embracing his childhood faith, Roark refuses to believe in a God who allows his faithful one to suffer. As things become more heated, he questions his beliefs. Messianic-Jewish believer, Emet, clings to his faith despite years of abuse. Under his master's roof, he overhears a plot to overthrow the government. Dare he brave his master's wrath and stop it before it's too late?
Skullduggery at Golgotha
The Trilogy of the Cross With the eloquence of a gifted preacher, and in the ancient tradition of an Irish Storyteller, Pastor Blaine MacNeil has written a captivating trilogy of novels by retelling the story of Jesus' betrayal, passion, death, resurrection and ascension. Pastor MacNeil has taken the Gospel accounts of Jesus' life and betrayal and added such drama to it that it fills the imagination with how the details of this story might have actually played out. As a gifted writer, he captivates his reader's mind and then stirs their souls to the very end. With the scriptures as the basis of his story, he has added intrigue and explanations that are true to the times, culture and customs of lands they pass through. By combining his pastoral scholarship (Masters in Divinity) with his training as a therapist (M.A.) he has masterfully portrayed the dynamic interactions of all the personalities of this novel. To all this he vividly brings to life the story by his excellent descriptions of the landscapes, the history of the people and the major events that take place that were known to the people then but were not included in the witness of the scriptures.SKULLDUGGERY AT GOLGATHAThe Untold Story of Christ's CrucifixionThis novel overlaps with its prequel returning to the story at the time Judas is dismissed from the Passover meal and it covers his steps up to the arrest. Jesus' march down the Mount of Olives is contrasted with his triumphal entry only a few days before. Though Jesus was found guilty by the two trials of the Sanhedrin court this is offset by being found innocent, first by Herod and then by Pilate. There is an explanation for the reason Pilate had Jesus thrashed. It was because this was the most severe punishment the Sanhedrin court could enforce. They chose instead to try to have Jesus put to death by Pilate. When the governor refuses they insist. He in turn inflicts the most severe punishment the Sanhedrin could have inflicted. Pilate's resolve to release Jesus is strong. He struggles within himself. As things come to a heated boil he calls up his cohort which is a force of eight hundred soldiers stationed at his headquarters. The chief priests have also assembled a large group of protesters who are on the verge of rioting. While Pilate has won in the courtroom battle he concedes the fight in the political arena when he is told that if he releases the Lord he is no friend to Caesar. Things come to a climax and rather than send his soldiers to slaughter the riotous protesters, he reluctantly sends Jesus to the cross to keep the peace. This story uniquely points out that if Jesus had been accepted by the Jewish high court as the Messiah then he would have been crowned their king. That would have taken place at the Praetorium where Pilate ruled which is where the Lord was crowned, given a royal robe and a scepter, albeit in a gesture of mockery. This novel shares a poorly known parallel historical event that occurs with Jesus' march to Golgotha and death. There is a national Passover lamb that is sacrificed on that day. It is presented publicly at the Temple and paraded through the city of Jerusalem at noon. This is the same time Jesus is sent to Golgotha. The national lamb is sacrificed at three in the afternoon coinciding with the time of Jesus' death. The cruel nature of both his thrashing and his crucifixion are described in detail. Rather than end the novel at the time of his death or burial this story continues on. There is a chapter that describes what would have taken place on Friday night and on Saturday the day of the Sabbath. It concludes at the point with the women are at the tomb again where they see the soldiers and there is a powerful earthquake which makes them fear the worse.

Forsaking Church
After bleeding away its moral authority for decades and in the midst of an immigration crisis at the US-Mexico border, Christianity in the United States has capitulated to the point of collapse. Four people, all wholeheartedly committed to the church, seek to find their way through the challenges of the Trump Presidency. A tragedy strikes an idealistic American pastor while a smart Guatemalan woman struggles for justice. An eager missionary from Ohio meets a wise Guatemalan theologian struggling to reconcile his country's history with the way the church is changing around him. All four are eager for the Beloved Community, but they will discover that they must leave the very institution to which they have given their lives to find mercy and salvation. In Forsaking Church, David Alexander Shaw takes us on an epic journey around the United States, Mexico, and Guatemala, weaving the collapse of the American church and the Trump Presidency, with four people's journeys of discovery. It is the end of an institution, but not the end of faith, mercy, or mythology.

After creating new gods, he quickly becomes the next big cult leader. His actions also birth a new religion with multiple sub-sects, and like all great (maniacal) cult leaders he envisions a new world order and insane end goal for humanity. He encounters, or helps create, many peculiar characters who are stuck in their roles and unable to stop their actions or alter course let alone his master plan. In the end, his trip from (away) God might be a trip from (provided by) the Almighty, or perhaps there's a far more sinister higher power helping him steer the world to its inevitable next phase.

He had planned to stop at a good restaurant with Laura Lou on the way home. He had planned to treat her to the best. Only a few minutes before, he had testified to the jitney driver that he was going to believe-no matter what happened. Depressed, he walked slowly to a lawn chair beside the filling station and sat down to study. "You don't mind if I sit here a while do you, sir?" "I never allow loafers, but I guess you can rest a bit." Edwin put his face in his hands. "Dear God in heaven," he prayed silently, "in Jesus' name, help me to know what to do. I don't want to sin now by doubting Thy word. If it's not good for now, it's not what I claimed it to be. You know, dear Lord, that Romans 8:28 has been my motto and it's got to still be! I do believe it. I dare not doubt, even though the devil wants me to. God bless that mean fellow who stole my billfold. I am one-one of Thy called ones according to Thy mysterious purpose, so deal with me, dear Father in Heaven, according to Thy will!"

Comin' Home Soon
Comin' Home Soon Vol 1 compiled by Marcia Kauffman ClarkThe title of the new book comes from one of Carol's short stories that never actually made it into print some 70 years ago. That story along with 22 other delightful gems are to be found in Volume I of her series. After reading just one of her stories, the reader is captured by her simple yet powerful prosaic style. It seems as if Carol had the gift to craft words at the first passing... as they flowed from her mind to the pencil. Rarely did she edit or alter these stories but just wrote as the words came. It was as if the words came from elsewhere and she was but the earthbound conduit of heaven's dew distilling upon her fertile and innocent mind.
The Heights and the Moors
The rather ordinary lives of four university students are derailed by supernatural beings and their cult followers. There is nowhere to run, save for a mysterious portal that transports them five hundred years in the past, to a rugged island in the north Atlantic. Here, the cult's origins come to bear, and the Norse legends are more reality than myth. Lawlessness reigns upon the moors, and in the heights, humans are the objects of prey. Berserkers who assume werewolf form are combing the eastern forests. In the south, revenants known as the draugr dwell in the Myrkur range. Most people reside in the comparative sanctity of Mithrendia's fortified walls, but in the great city, the Church is ever watchful for heretics. What the Crown does not know is that its burning pyres are about to fulfill a deadly prophecy.Thrust in this cauldron of Gothic portents, the four students may just be the molders of history, if they can first survive.

Has the fire that once burned fervently cooled to ashes? Ladies, Zipporah will stir your appetite for your husband. Men, Moses will help you discover ways to thrill your wife.Zipporah shares the moment she discovered Moses was as passionate for her as she was for him; the way it could have been..."His strong arms embraced me as I placed my hands on his shoulders and dismounted. My heart was racing wildly! I had never been this close to Moses--or any other man besides Father for that matter. I stumbled slightly, and he hastily reached out for me again to steady me. This time, he did not release his hold on me, and immediately I reached up and placed my arms around his neck."Without words being spoken, I instantly knew Moses felt as I felt. Philip Strong could not decide what was best to do. The postman that evening had brought him two letters and he had just finished reading them. He sat with his hands clasped over his knee, leaning back in his chair and looking out through his study window. He was evidently thinking very hard and the two letters were the cause of it. Finally he rose, went to his study door and called down the stairs, "Sarah, I wish you would come up here. I want your help." "All right, Philip, I'll be up in a minute," responded a voice from below, and very soon the minister's wife came upstairs into her husband's study. "What's the matter?" she said, as she came into the room. "It must be something very serious, for you don't call me up here unless you are in great distress. You remember the last time you called me, you had shut the tassel of your dressing-gown under the lid of your writing desk and I had to cut you loose. You aren't fast anywhere now, are you?" Philip smiled quaintly. "Yes, I am. I'm in a strait betwixt two. Let me read these letters and you will see." So he began at once, and we will copy the letters, omitting dates.
The Gods of the Amorites
The Mennonites eventually moved to Prussia, later absorbed by Frederick the Great as West Prussia, over many years. The Derksens find themselves having settled there several generations ago, but now in the mid-1770s are finding it more and more difficult to to live out their sectarian faith. One pitfall after another comes their way, both in their home and family, and in their business ventures. Children don't always agree with the harsh limitations on their lifestyle and try out the things that those around them are doing, and that causes consternation, both for the parents and for the Elder, who is intent on keeping to the old values of Menno. In the end, love covers a multitude of sins.
