Star One
It is the year 2044 on Earth. At the Farside observatory complex on the Moon, a startling astronomical discovery has been made. A survey for pulsars has found an x-ray source in a region of space where none has been detected before. Upon further investigation, they find that this x-ray source is just outside of the Solar System. The astronomers are paralyzed by what they have found knowing what its disastrous ramifications might be.A neutron star is approaching the Solar System. It appeared out of a small dust cloud that was shielding its approach. Armageddon has arrived; the star is on a trajectory that will take it through the center of the Solar System. Life on Earth will not survive its passing. The only hope for survival will be on the massive Star One space station at the Earth-Moon Lagrange point or possibly in Tycho City deep beneath the Moon's surface. It will be a race against time to save a fraction of the Earth's frightened population. A power struggle will erupt on Earth over who is to survive. On Star One and at Tycho City they prepare for the worst, unfortunately, the threat from Earth might be just as dangerous as the approaching neutron star.

A Gent Of Vega
On the internet, nobody knows you're a dog. Or an alien, for that matter. Physics nerd Steven Bach gets together with an internet acquaintance only to find that his acquaintance is decidedly not human. What follows is an elaborate hide-and-seek. From the humans. From the aliens. But when the alien hive queen herself gets involved, the stakes get very high. Can Steven Bach, his girlfriend Barbara, and the alien Arthur derail the hive queen's plans to destroy humanity? The race is on. .AN INTERVIEW WITH RICH WEYAND This looks like a new series. That's right. The Vegan series. I'm not sure how many books in this series, though. It could be a standalone book. That would be new for me, but it could be. I finished the major story arc, though there are a lot of threads I could pick up on. So what's the gist? A nerdy physics guy, in college, meets up with an internet acquaintance, and finds he is decidedly not human. Not human? No, he's a big insect. I need to explain. The title of this book, "A Gent of Vega," is an homage to James H. Schmitz, who published a short story called "Agent of Vega" in 1949. It was the title story of his 1960 anthology. James H. Schmitz is something of a hero of mine, as he pioneered strong, independent women in science fiction. At a time when women in science fiction stories were damsel in distress or merely for decoration, he put them front and center in his stories. Looking back, I've done that myself, in every one of my novels. He was a huge influence on us all. So that's why the 1940s vibe on the cover? Exactly. I went back to the forties. The 1940s cheesecake cover. Luca Oleastri and Paola Giari of Rotwang Studio in Italy did an amazing job on the cover. They've done like twenty-six covers for me now. I also went back to the 1940s for the setup. The aliens are giant bugs. I even have an evolutionary explanation for how that came about, but it's very 1940s to have the aliens be giant bugs. So what's the action? The hive queen - on Vega - finds out that one of her spies on Earth has exposed himself to the Earthlings, the 'monkeymen.' She is not amused. She calls him back for consequences. Our heroes go along. Oh, boy. Then what? Oh, no. No spoilers. But it's fun. Alpha readers loved it. How did it write? About par for me these days. Forty-six writing days at about 1800 words a day. Slower than for the Childers or EMPIRE series, but I'm being much more open to doing other things in my life than just writing. For a while there, when I started a new book, my wife would say, 'Well, see you in a month.'

Aliens & UFO
To For centuries, humanity has gazed up at the stars, fascinated by their celestial dance and the silent promise they hold. The question of whether we are alone in infinite space has haunted our imagination and driven our scientific endeavors. While rigorous scientific investigations continue to play a crucial role in our quest to understand extraterrestrial life, this book offers a complementary perspective - a mystical exploration of the world and encounters with aliens. This is not to dismiss science, but to recognize that the quest to understand reality goes beyond the purely empirical. There is a world of intuition, symbolism and spiritual connection that often remains unexplored, but has enormous potential to enrich our understanding of the universe and our place in it. We will travel through a landscape where ancient myths and modern observations intertwine, where folklore and speculation illuminate previously hidden paths, and will examine the different races said to inhabit our universe, each with unique characteristics, purposes and interactions with humanity. Prepare for your perceptions to be challenged, your imagination to be ignited and your understanding of the cosmos to be significantly expanded.
From UFO to UAP & USO
To the countless eyewitnesses, both known and anonymous, who have bravely shared their experiences of the unexplained. Your stories, though often dismissed, are at the heart of this investigation. This book is a testament to your courage in facing the unknown and a plea for a future where such stories are not met with derision, but with careful consideration and open inquiry. It is also dedicated to the scientists, investigators and journalists who have tirelessly pursued these mysteries, often against overwhelming odds and in the face of skepticism and indifference. Your dedication to the truth, even in the darkest corners of the unknown, inspires us all to keep seeking answers and to never stop questioning the reality we perceive. This work is a small attempt to honor your efforts and to continue the search for understanding in a world full of mysteries that remain stubbornly beyond our grasp. Finally, this book is dedicated to the indefatigable human curiosity and the unwavering belief in the power of exploration, even when venturing into the most unsettling and unknown areas of existence. From the moment Kenneth Arnold's groundbreaking sighting in 1947 ushered in the modern era of UFO fascination, the mysteries of the air and the deep have intrigued humanity. The terms have evolved - from UFO to USO and now UAP - reflecting a changing understanding and official recognition. This book takes you on a journey through this changing terminology, examining the historical context of each term and exploring the societal impact of each new designation. But this book is more than just a chronological history, it is a deep dive into the first-hand experiences of those who have encountered the unexplained. We will visit geographical hotspots where observations cluster, examining persistent patterns and fascinating anomalies that defy easy explanations. May this book inspire further investigation and a deeper appreciation of the unknown.
