Art of Robbii
The origin of this collection lay in a dilemma many of us face, i had created too much art for my apartment, and had no place to display it. So, as many do, I started to give art away, and at times sell it. I wanted to have a way to share my passion for creativity with many. SO, with that I have created this hopefully interesting collection of my recent works.
Herbal Handbook
Herbal Handbook is a charming, information-packed guide to 51 herbs and their uses illustrated with rare botanical art from the renowned archives of The New York Botanical Garden. Did you know that woodruff was used as a room freshener in the Middle Ages; that crushed bergamot leaves can soothe bee stings; and that dried fenugreek seeds were found in the tomb of King Tutankhamen? Herbs are magical, and their uses myriad. Inside Herbal Handbook are fifty-one herbs portrayed in words and rare botanical art curated by experts at The New York Botanical Garden. Use Herbal Handbook to explore their history, how to grow them, and how they were used in the past and present. Then bring them into your daily life; each herb's profile offers a recipe or project that highlights its unique properties. So cleanse your face with calendula when you wake up, sip a bergamot tea at breakfast, have a lovage tuna sandwich for lunch, and mix a caraway cocktail at the end of the day. Let Herbal Handbook delight your senses as they have done to others for thousands of years.
Saving Seeds Handbook
A Go-to Gardener's Guide To Saving Seeds Successfully In recent times, several gardeners have taken an interest in saving seeds from their plants; however, the process of saving seeds can be scary, but yet simple. Seed saving takes some time and effort, but it is well worth it for gardeners, irrespective of the level of experience.Once you've found a variety that suits you, saving seeds from it will enable you to repeat your success time after time. Why? Because plants are much more sensitive than you might think to the growing conditions distinct to each garden. What works well in your garden may not work in your neighbor's. There are other factors at play, including your specific microclimate, the microbiological health of your garden soil, and chemical or other harmful exposure. Other factors are the minimum distance between plants of similar species, which is important so that cross-pollination does not take place with another variety, as well as the minimum number of plants that need to be grown to conserve the innate genetic diversity. It's also important to identify the characteristics of the variety so that when grown, plants not breeding "true" are not picked. It is also important to adhere to effective seed storage procedures to keep the seed viable. We can go on and on about how well informed you need to be before you start saving seeds, but we can't; hence the reason why this book, Saving Seeds Handbook, was written, to provide you with virtually all you need to save seeds successfully. Here are a couple of what you will learn in this book;In-depth details about seeds; definition, types, anatomy, seed formation, seed terminologies, etc.Planning for Seed production; choosing seeds to save, seed lifecycle, planning the population size, isolation of varieties, hand pollination, etc.Harvesting mature seeds; timing the harvest, processing seeds, drying seeds, storing seeds, testing seed quality, etc.Common vegetable seeds you can save and a rundown of what you need to know and doCommon flower seeds you can save and a rundown of what you need to know and doSeed saving mistakes to avoidAnd a whole lot more! So, what are you waiting for?Get a copy of this book RIGHT NOW to get started

Writing in the Garden
As a gardener one thing I have realized about myself is when I am not in the garden I enjoy writing about this wonderful hobby. I call this writing in the garden; it becomes an extension of my gardening reality. Writing and gardening have much in common. Sometimes gardening takes place only on paper and in one's imagination.
Southern Gardening All Year Long
Winner of the 2022 Communication Award from the National Association of County Agricultural Agents Southern Gardening All Year Long approaches southern landscapes from a different perspective. Instead of encyclopedic lists and articles focused on botanical gardens or someone else's landscape, author and host of Southern Gardening Gary R. Bachman connects with his audience through personal stories that share his expertise gained over decades of planting, all told in an easily digestible format. Most stories in Southern Gardening All Year Long focus on Bachman's hands-on experience with gardening. He recounts tales about his own personal gardens--plants that have thrived and failed--and presents his advice in a common-sense style. Bachman's personal, conversational writing makes Southern Gardening All Year Long an old-fashioned, over-the-fence chat with a knowledgeable and helpful neighbor. Just as he has done in newspapers, and on television and radio, with Southern Gardening All Year Long, Bachman hopes to help gardeners be successful in their own landscapes, alleviate some of the apprehension new gardeners feel, and inspire experienced gardeners to try new plants instead of the same old plantings every year. Gardening success doesn't always follow steps 1-2-3, but Bachman encourages readers not to worry about plants that don't survive. Failures happen in gardens every season. Offering a variety of tips and tricks and over 170 color images, Southern Gardening All Year Long will become a gardener's best friend.

The Philosophy of Gardening
For philosophizing gardeners and anyone who likes to pick up a spade and get their hands dirty Gardeners discover a new world every year--whether they're cultivating heirloom vegetables, foraging for wild herbs, creating a small permaculture garden on a city balcony, or maintaining a plot for self-sufficiency. But why garden at all? These personal essays by writers, designers, and master gardeners dig into gardening's philosophical dimensions and tend to the aesthetic, cultural, political, and sociological implications of gardens and the people who keep them. Originally published in German, this delightful volume addresses gardening's most deep-rooted questions and highlights the magic that, year after year, makes us pick up a shovel and get back into the garden. Awarded the German Garden Book Prize in the Best Garden Prose Category "What is remarkable is that the publication project is something very individual... the spectrum ranges from the 'plea for weeds' to the 'metaphysics' of the garden to urban gardening and garden shows, and the realization that gardens are 'hopelessly ambivalent'--all in all a very interesting volume." - Jury Citation

Landscaping a Small Lot
There are only seven sections because the book is intended to be a quick read. It is somewhat a reference book, though, because much is packed into it and it covers a great deal. The book is concise, but generally thorough in relaying key essentials for gardening and for planning out and establishing a landscape. Points are made that relate to these tasks. The warmer and hotter areas in the southern American states (and in Hawaii) are the more at-issue locations that tie in with the book, but the points can be applied to any lot, anywhere in the world and regardless of year-round temperatures.

Profit First for Lawn Care and Landscape Businesses
Many owners of lawn care and landscape businesses found their companies on the belief that they would make more money working for themselves than they would as employees. But technical knowledge alone won't generate profit or help a company grow. It doesn't have to be this way. By decreasing their expenses, managing their cash flow, and planning for strategic growth, these business owners can transform their companies into profit-making machines that reward them generously for their hard work, passion, and entrepreneurial spirit. Profit First for Lawn Care and Landscape Businesses provides a comprehensive, industry-specific toolbox, not available anywhere else. The Green Profit Toolbox(TM) was created to help owners of lawn care and landscape industry businesses ensure strong profits and long-term growth. Gardening Without Work
Garden expert and lovable eccentric Ruth Stout once said: "At the age of 87 I grow vegetables for two people the year-round, doing all the work myself and freezing the surplus. I tend several flower beds, write a column every week, answer an awful lot of mail, do the housework and cooking-and never do any of these things after 11 o'clock in the morning!"Her first book about her no-work gardening system, How to Have a Green Thumb Without an Aching Back, was the kind of book people can't bear to return. She reports, "A dentist in Pennsylvania and a doctor in Oregon have both written me that they keep a copy of my garden book in their waiting rooms. Or try to; the dentist has had twenty-three copies stolen, the doctor, sixteen."Gardening Without Work is her second gardening book and is even more entertaining and instructional than the first, so hide it from your friends! How does it work? "And now let's get down to business. The labor-saving part of my system is that I never plow, spade, sow a cover crop, harrow, hoe, cultivate, weed, water or irrigate, or spray. I use just one fertilizer (cottonseed or soybean meal), and I don't go through the tortuous business of building a compost pile. Just yesterday, under the "Questions and Answers" in a big reputable farm paper, someone asked how to make a compost pile and the editor explained the arduous performance. After I read this I lay there on the couch and suffered because the victim's address wasn't given; there was no way I could reach him.""My way is simply to keep a thick mulch of any vegetable matter that rots on both my vegetable and flower garden all year round. As it decays and enriches the soil, I add more."Regardless of topic, Ruth Stout's writing is always about living a joyous and independent life, and Gardening Without Work is no exception! This book is a treasure for the gardener and a delight even to the non-gardener. First published in 1961, this Norton Creek Press version is an exact reproduction of the original edition.Ruth Stout, who, in her teens helped temperance activist Carrie Nation smash saloon windows, could turn any aspect of life into an adventure. She may have been the only woman who both gardened in the nude, wrote a book on happiness (If You Would Be Happy) and one bout the quirky people who came to visit (Company Coming: Six Decades of Hospitality). (Both are available from Norton Creek Press.)Ruth died in 1980 at the age of 96.
